I actually started a new toon with the idea of AC/hate tank, but kinda gave up on the AC part till i get allll the gear. Kept the tank and the hate parts of the equation, and rerolled twice, going from ftr to ftr/pally splash to pure pally.

hey mate, what level are you know ? since you can do a good tanking job with some basic gear on normal and hard in most of the quests. It will take some grind here and there but in the end you can get to ac levels where it matters on your first life (that be AC for normal quests mabey basic raids not TOD etc though)

i recommend looking for a +5 mith plate should be easy to find and a +5 adm tower shield (mith would be better but they are expensive)
Also if your true neutral as a fighter you can get some easy AC from that ! (balance items or what are they called again ?)

Now i also saw you rolled to pure pally ? i tryed that to and i found him lacking in damage tbh. the extra feats of a fighter just allow you to do so much more then just turtle and take a swing at it!

IF you wish i can hand you a lay out how i am leveling atm as a ac/hate/intimi tank ?

Pally has a killer 100% Pal 6 threat Enh, and a PrE that gives always on threat, DoS. Only downside is the feat, but you should really take shield mastery anyway for this build, so there you go.

Fighter has stalward stance ? so i don't see how this made you pick for pally more ? Can you explain ?
And yes pally has a killer treath ench i agree, but i must say i never had issues with that, though in all fairness i have a tier2 min2 BS (no metaline yet etc)


And just a general question how do you layout all the def feats you can get on a pally ? i mean there are alot of them out there ! It would be great to see some layout of a working pally here with the current status of S&B.

If it might help you, I have a lot of details laid out and my opinions on some of the ideas laid out in the Citadel build. I also have two sets of gear laid out (1 to get started, 1 to end with) as well as the breakdowns of his AC, HP, skills, enhancements and feats.
