It would really curb many heated discussions where people use a thread on a message board like its a chat room. I bet the MODs lives during working hours would be much easier with even a small flood control setting of 5 minutes between posts, per thread.

I think the flood control for posting is quite fine, if not I'd only ask to increase it by 30 seconds (to 1 minute). A 5 minute posting delay is too long of a time span to wait (especially for multi-post threads)
