    Default Human or Half-Elf

About to TR my Warforged Sorc into a fleshie Sorc (3rd life) - can't decide between Human or Half-Elf, main difference being extra feat or +5 Saves or Scroll cast as 10 cleric.

    Someone decide for me!

Barbarian is also good for the 20 HP.

It depends on what lives you have. The extra feat could be pretty useful.

    1st Life Sorcerer, 2nd Life Sorcerer (!)

I just dislike the look of warforged so going back to Fleshie

The saves are not free, the first +2 are but the other +3 cost 6 AP. AP is thin in the current enhancement layout, keep that in mind.

Scroll use is immaterial, you will have no fail heal scrolls as any fleshy Sorc with just a little bit of gear.

So do it depends on how high you value saves. I play a Human and have never once found myself thinking "If only my saves were higher", but you may feel differently.

Yeah been a while - i have some good gear (everything but epic and litany really).

I am drifting to Human - an extra feat never hurts. Half Elf seemed so strong originally - but having doubts now.

I would also highly recommend going through a Wizard life if you can stand to grind through an extra double TR life. +2 Spell Pen is nice and Past Life: Arcane Initiate is a very strong feat to have access to, for any caster.

Can't face it - want to play with the low level Sorc Pre, although agree it would be the sensible thing to do.

I understand completely, I hated going through just 1 Wiz life on my Sorc. Though I play a Wiz as well without any problem, just used to playing each character a certain way and it through me off quite a bit while leveling.

The paladin dilletante feat is probably the best way to go if you want to be a Half Elf. You will be able to use Cure Serious wands without a UMD check, however the Cleric feat might be better for leveling so that you can still use other items. The minimal +2 to your saves is pretty good, and you can get an additional +2 without sacrificing much.
I will have enough AP to get +4 to my saves and both Human Recovery, and a Human Adaptability, and still get all seven ranks of a secandry element.

I second that. You wont miss the Human feat slot if you have the wizard and sorcerer past lives and want to be a Half Elf.
There was no way I could make the build I wanted without two past lives, and you will be very glad you did it.
