Why doesn't Melf's Acid Arrow stack up to x3 like the other savant elemental specific DoT's? It doesn't make any sense not to allow Melf's to go x3 as well, unless I'm missing something.

The ones that can be stacked are lvl 5 spells, Melf's is a lvl 2. That's pretty much it, it's not supposed to be that powerful. What would be nice is a new higher level acid spell that could be stacked that way.
^ yes
Incorrect. If higher lvl spells were better, FW (4) still wouldn't be way better then incendiary cloud (8) .. Hell most every lvl4/5 spell is better hten lvl9.
Examples: Niacs ibiting cold, eladars, acid rain, all far superior to say meteor swarm..
Devs fail at balance for lvls.
Melfs acid arrow was AWESOME on original lamania version of u9.
The devs nerfed the **** out of it.
They told us why too:
It was chosen as a SLA. There reasoning was that SLAs are meant to suck since there quote "dirt cheap".
Tho they did it different for fire.. They invented scorch so they wouldnt have to nerf sorching ray... Wish they did that for acid.
Man, acid always getting the short end of the stickoh well, I mean don't get me wrong acid savant is NICE and a lot of fun to play, but I think they need to balance out the savants and DoT's by making melf's stack x3 or coming up with another one that is able to stack x3. They could call it....Gumerk's Meltdown
or something like that haha
