Default i would like a pet rock please

yes, a reusable, "hireling" with no combat or healing capacity, weighing about 180-200 lbs, that i can place and have stay in place for the express purpose of holding down buttons. no need to buy it over and over, just schlep it back into the ole pack and deal with the weight until next use, or pop it in the bank and watch the teller's go all cross eyed. nice for savings, or achievement runs. if you've ever dragged a hireling into a quest for want of a rock, brick, or other weighty object i just know you are head nodding right now. added bonuses like "the rock" being unkillable, and actually staying put just add to the value, on top of that reusability. maybe even make them non exclusive.

bonus points for craftable traps that can trigger floor buttons with remote activation.
    ...
    discuss.

I now want in game "pet rocks"

We used 'em to represent Big monsters back in the day. Might as well bring 'em back for another purpose.

In Trine, the first spell the Wizard learns is Summon Crate.

a pet rock would need to be alive to if you want it to push down panels.that is why you can't just dump them 4 full plate armors in your back pack instead.... oh wait. you can't do that anyway.

as a side note id like to say that in my pen and paper gaming (i game and actually also teach pnp dnd in youth centers). i made up a Prc that let a wizard take a pet rock as familiar. i posted it in the giant in the playground a few months back. can't find the link,so i posted it again in my page;http://my.ddo.com/masterzzan/2011/05...-pet-rock-prc/

Control bar for summons would do the trick for me. I would use a clickie, spell or a scroll to summon one and ask him do stuff for me.

/ Signed for a pet rock. Sounds cute.
