Right, Sarlona-specific culture regarding d-doors, sorry, what I'm talking about with common ddoor at part 5 is on Thelanis PuGs, I think nearly every completion I have we have the ddoor/drop group for those not completing w/a countdown for the altar.

Here's the thread I highly recommend for puzzle solving:

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=228976

with the practice tool that does not have a "solve" feature and does not generate unsolvable puzzles from that thread at: http://terpstra.ca/vale.html

With buffing do not buff after part 4, you'll lose all buffs transitioning to part 5 and the lost sp will mean you'll be running back and forth over the corner of the healing pool that much longer.

Right, in part 5 while the kiting is going on you may spend some time with the cleric(s) running back and forth over the corner of a pool to refill your sp. I don't usually see the arcanes doing this step-shuffle, but sometimes.

Humble apologies, my Redneck-to-English vocabulary is indeed not up to snuff.

    I /sit corrected.

    lol.

Then again, I was going to ask what a guy from the greater Boston area knew about being redneck. You have to get south of the Mason-Dixon line first. Glad you cleared it up for him.

Still, maybe in Boston they need to wear them as undershirts. I've been to Boston and it gets cold there. People really do own under and outer shirts.

Also, these remarkable inventions called coats. Its a big "shirt" that goes on over the overshirt. Technology is grand sometimes.

What is this kiting you speak of ?

Also, as a caster it is not uncommon for the raid lead to ask you to solo one of the 4 bosses in part 2 or 5, of course if you are not comfortable with this, just tell them you are not specc'd to damage xyz or whatever. And when you start to lead your own raids, in part 2, its a step towards smoothness if you actually do control one of the bosses, even my healers generally can get the aggro and pull a boss away and keep it from being killed too early.

EDITED TO ADD--Since you are a Wiz, pick up Ice Torm for the portals in part 1 as some groups will run with 4-10 casters Also a Smiting weapon or two, whichever you can afford.

Is that the thing we're supposed to wear when it's down to 60 in january? I just generally transition from "shorts" to "pants".
