+1 from me too. I'm a longtime Dire Mouse Combatant, so I can totally relate.

I'll never forget the time the wife went downstairs in the morning and found a mouse curled up next to the wood stove. She didn't know what to do with it so she put a glass bowl over it. Let's just say I was a bit confused when I came downstairs a couple hours later.

Now that brings back memories from college.

One time I went out to the kitchen about.. 2 am. Was wanting some water and knew we had a mouse running about. My luck of all things was that I was coherent enough to realize it was there.

I was also coherent enough to pick up the glass skillet lid, and catch the mouse under it. I slapped a post-it "Mouse under glass," on the lid and went back to bed.
