    Default Paladin Consolidated Greensteel Items

    Planning on creating your greensteel item? Think about which effects you want and which slots to take. Check what items are possible on that slot before crafting.
    Example: Are you sure you want to craft a greensteel belt? There is the Knight of the chalice and Defender of Siberys belts available.

    Note: This discussion is mainly for non-weapon Greensteel items only. This is not the uber end game guide, this is mainly for greensteel items.
    Every greensteel item that you wear will have the Taint of Shavarath (oohh scary). You need to cleanse it before you can wear another GS item. If not, it will deal damage to you every time. You will need a cleansing stone, the GS item and a high energy cell to cleanse. GS items can be cleansed at the altar of devastation (Shroud part 5 or guild ships that are level 56 and above). Cleansing stones are available on your 20th Shroud run as end reward.

    Guards or Clickies or Other Effects
    Concordiant Oppostion: Gains SP and temporary HP when you are hit.
    Extra SP on hit is hot.
    Wisdom +6, so you saved one slot
    +5 Cha Skills for UMD

    Min II Heavy Fort and Stoneskin Clickie
    Lit II Lightning damage guard
    Triple Air
    +1 AC of Air Guard's Haste guard bonus stacks with a regular haste's AC bonus a viable addition to any AC based pally.

    Attributes / Stats
    Blindess & Disease Immunity / +50sp / +100sp
    Wizardy 6 / +50sp / +100sp: if you can't fit a wizardy or archmagi item on your slots
    +10 hp / +15 hp / +20 hp: more HP, more fun

    Epic helm of frost Polar Ray Greater Cold Resistance, Charisma +7, Abishai Set


    Goggles
    Tharnes Goggles: True Seeing, Sneak Attack Bonus +5


    Necklace
    Amrath Necklaces
    Silver Flame Trinket
    Bracers
    Levik's Bracers: Healing Amplification 20%, Strength +6
    Bracelet of Thaarak: 20 toughness stackable HP, DR 3/Lawful, Dodge Bonus +2, Acid Breath

    Lorinthor's Belt: Knight of the Chalice Set
    Belt of the Defenders of Siberys: Defender of Siberys set
    Epic Belt of Mroranon Strength +7, Heavy Fortification, +20 stackable HP

    Gloves
    Charged guantlets:
    Gloves of Titan Grip: (Psionic Strength Bonus +6 for 1 Minute clickie, Stacks)

    Cloak
    Envenomed Cloak: Abishai Set
    Mabar Cloak
    Only available on Mabar Festival


    Boots:
    Firestorm Greaves
    Boots of Corrosion: Abishai Set
    Striding / Feather fall boots / TOD Boots
    My opinion is, I don't want to swap my HP or SP gs item with a striding and FF boots. Some advice is swap it your striding and FF with rings, but I am thinking TOD rings are on that slot.


    Possible Solutions:
    1. You can go for +45hp Lit2 Cloak Guard (or Disintegration Guard when fighting Electricity Immune mobs), the downside is, when guard items should be taken off (example is HoX raid), you will lose 45 hp
    2. Concordant SP goggles if you don't want tharnes goggles.
    3. +45hp Min2 Helmet. The 20 stackable HP in Minos Legens is placed on augment slots

    My gear onn my 20 thfing kotc horc

    helm: helm of frost , slotted gfl
    neck: shintoa cord/ silver flame
    cloak: envenomed cloak, unslotted atm
    belt: ravenger/ kotc
    ring 1: ravenger/ kotc both with exp. str 2
    ring 2: kysho's / 20% amp
    boots: madstone/ boots of corosion
    bracer: 45 hp/ min 2/ heavy fort
    googles : thranes
    gloves: epic charged gauntlets/ slotted wizardy 6 atm

    With that gear set up, i can't fit a perm sp item, but i do ok with the 500+ i have, also have a triple air cloak i swap in if i need umd etc.

    also have bracers of the claw made/ waiting onn scroll for the gloves , this may cause me to move greensteel to my neck...but not sure yet, hope this helps

    ring 2: DoS Ring with Ex Char
    boots: Firestorm Greaves/FF/Boots of Anchoring/Madstone (have used like 2 times in 5 years lol)
    bracer: Leviks
    googles : Concordiant Op
    gloves: +6 Dex (I think lol)
    armor: Dragontouched (+6 charisma, +3 char skills, +4 insight) Have epic Cavelry Plate, but need to rearrange some things
    Shield: Leviks
    Weapon: Bounce between a triple pos khopesh, epic chimeras fang, enduring conviction, +4 silver anarchic khopesh of pure good etc.

    I use a concopp sp item on my pally. The guard effect is relatively mild compared to other benefits, but if it means a couple of spare divine favor/zeal casts, that can be helpful. One significant benefit is that it saves a slot by also including +6 wisdom -- and paladins are often gear-slot-challenged. It also provides +5 cha skills, which is a nice added benefit for UMD builds. It's in the goggle slot, which precludes Tharnes, but I like to generate hate with this toon (and I can umd TS scrolls when I need to), so not such a big deal.

    I have an earthgrab guard hp necklace, and wish I didn't. For one, I now prefer the cloak slot. There are other necklaces I'd rather have there. Secondly, I'd like to actually have a damaging guard. Earthgrab is so pre-mod 9

    2 rogue 17 pal dos (hopefully 20 soon

    gear some I have, some i need to grind

    head: pirate hat - 15 intim 5 natural armor
    neck: 5 protection (going 6 cha at 20)
    belt: heavy fort, poison immunity (dos belt eventually)
    ring: 1 tumbleweed, 6 dex +2 attack 10 tumble (dos ring eventually)
    ring: 2 6 con (chattering if it ever drops)
    bracer: leviks (+2 dodge bracer at 20, either chaosgarde, or new one if it ever drops)
    goggles: greensteel conc opp (wizardry 6, 6 wis, +150 spell points +5 cha skills)
    gloves: charged gaunts (level 20 t2 brawling gloves)
    armor: parasitic breastplate, (level 20 t3 duelist leather w/ +7 enhancement)
    cloak: 6 cha med guild slot (min 2 45 hp +5 prot heavy fort at 20)
    shield: leviks (level 20 t3 swashbuckler w/ +7 enhancement)
    trinket: greater nimble trinket
    weapon: min 2 dwarf axe w/ +4 insight


    at level 19 65 ac w/ CE standing, expected AC at 20 to be ~70 standing, goal is 70 w/ power attack but that will take a while and may need to TR to halfling

    Imho, on a pure pally, a +150 SP item is not strictly needed.
    The main advantage of SP items is the option of +6 cha skills, which most prominently include UMD, but also Intimidate.

    The +1 AC of Air Guard's Haste guard bonus stacks with a regular haste's AC bonus, which makes the triple air items (also as a mix&match version with ConcOpp*) a viable addition to any AC based pally.

    *E.g. ConcOpp has +5 Cha skills and +1 Str skills for 150 SP and 10 HP. Then you could go with +5 Dex skills and +1 Cha skill for Archmagi and 35 HP to complement that.
