need help for my epic spec archmage

OK i have a Warforged Wizard that recently hit lvl 20. With the changes in Mod 9 i know I need to re-do her enhancements. but I'm not sure what is the best way to ensure that a) i get the Archmage PRC and b) make sure I'm going to be pulling my weight in Epic quests

if anyone can post some suggestions on how to spend my action points to reach my greatest potential, it would be appreciated

necromancy and enchantment are the only paths that benifit from increasing DCs for epics. atleast thats the idea i got from playing for some time. so primary focus in necromany and seconday enchantment focus might be good... or the other way around...

Archmages are fine in epics. To get the enhancement you need to take a spell focus in a school of magic. Before U9 most people took enchantment, now you can pick from a few.

Personally, I am liking Necromancy for a spell focus & greater spell focus, and a secondary spell focus in conjuration for 3sp webs.

Post U9 your choices are a lot better. Many more spells have now benefited from the changes. Conjuration is awesome in epics now. Cheap webs are really nice.

Post U9 conjuration focus+ free web is still the most potent cc....

I personally still go with enchantment+conjuration, cc is slower and less cool now, but it is still safer if u can manage to get good dc.

thanks for the posts, the difficulty I am having is i have no idea on the best spend of my action points.

i find the character creators very confusing & have no idea how to spend my AP's to even GET to archmage.

looks like i need to change some feats to get greater spell focus?

just found out i need greater spell focus to be an archmage...
