What skills were you thinking of maxing out? Are you thinking an intimitank? Looks like you're for sure a sword and board with Shield Mastery, correct? So meaningful AC + Self-Healing and Dwarf CON were you thinking of tanking?

Battle Clerics are always fun! You took slashing so are you thinking Daxes? It looks like you've got a good build going as far as I can see.

Actually she isnt putting points into intim with this toon. Maxing concentration with some balance and one rank of tumble. This is a friend starting DDO for first time, trying to make it a straight forward affair as possible. Decent melee toon + self healer thats 28 point friendly

greataxe for DPS with axe n board option if she needs to turtle up a bit

Looks a lot like my own dwarven battle cleric (see sig), albeit you skipped the THF feats. My view is the THF feats add enough DPS to be worth taking on a melee-focused BC, but they're not a requirement, especially if your friend learns how to twitch.

i agree with unbongwah. that said, why have all 3 layers of spell boosting metas? if you're thinking of offensive spells, then boosting wisdom more is critical. if you only just want to fight and heal, then empower healing is enough

My thinking is that the full metas and no DC route works rather effectively for my melee FVSs. Not against evasion obviously. Front load the damage multipliers on your blade barrier before sending it to a probable DC fail, giving her a viable and potent blade barrier without taking spell focus feats and putting level ups into wis. So in end you have higher str and higher base damage blade barriers with a lower DC -VS- lower str (and to-hit) and lower base BB damage with a higher save. If i drop empower and maximize for THF and ITHF i lose potent BBs and fast and powerful cure masses (for quick cast time too keep swinging) and gain 20% beefier glancing blows while standing and swinging. I see the draw in that, and its how my fvs was setup for close to a year, but (personally) i find having solid BBs with low DCs to be a great help for running most all content, specially amrath,
