I am really looking for input on this build. So far I am level 5 and really enjoying it. I have never tried a ranged character in this game or a rogue so I was trying to come up with a build to fulfill both of those at once. I also wanted to be able to hit traps in epic as well as have the versatility of going melee when needed. With the sneak attack enhancements, I would think the damage would atleast be enough to be considered a contribution. Let me know what you guys think and or what you would do differently.

Early on almost everyting is easy mode, even wizards/sorcs used to master's touch two-handers till lvl4-5-6.
Later on ur build will fare ok but not great and ofcourse with some limitations (using both repeaters and rapiers requires double amount of weapons - can even be problematic considering carriying capacity). A typical jack of all trades - master of none.
Damage will be lower than pure twf assassins/kensai's when using two weapons, and quite lower than pure mechanics using repeaters. Main reason: low Str for melee, low Int for repeaters, 8d6 sneak attack dice behind pure mechanic, 11d6 SA dice behind pure assassin (capstone included). Also missing feats IC: pierce and Power Attack will lower melee dps even further.
To-hit should be fine since finesse, u could even drop Dex to 18 and add points to str or/and int (depending whether u favor repeaters of twf).
Trap skills should be fine since they are a non-issue for even 2lvl-rogue-splashed wizard.
    Pros:
    -slightly higher hp
-self-healing with wands early on (ranger)
-slightly increased versatility for being able to switch melee/ranged
    -flavor build to ur liking

Didnt check skills or enhancements cause im lazy

Yeah I already made changes to the starting stats. Dropped Dex to 18 and bumped int to 16 with Cha goin to 12 for a little better UMD. Would it be better to just skip out on the 2nd lvl of ranger to gain another SA die and pick up another rogue feat and scrap twf entirely or keep versatility this way?

u could consider going pure mechanic for full SA and capstone, also it would allow u to completely dump Str (as only dex and int matter for repeater mechanic), just make sure u wear a +str item for capacity and a bunch of lesser restoration pots for rays of enfeeb. Its also quite fun and requires some playing skill.
for halfling pure mechanic i would suggest
str6 (use +6 item as soon as possible)
dex 18 (+1 tome or lvlup to qualify for improved precise shot)
    con 14
int 16 (lvlups could go here not dex, as u can add +5 dex from enhancements, to-hit should be fine)
    cha 10 (14 if 32-pt build)
    more info on repeaters here
    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=266855

generally, multiclassing and speccing for 2 types of weapon is not such a good idea. Multiclasses usually have better versatility/survivability but lower damage output. u should always know what u r giving up in order to take smth else.

I had just leveled my build that tried to make a twfing repeater build. It builds off the extra range of sneak attacks by using deepwood sniper. A screenshot is included that gives you some idea of the range of sneak attack if you go with 6 levels of ranger and deepwood sniper.

Get a good group to hold aggro and you'll see tons of sneak attack using your imp. precise shot! Its unbelievable to have this range and manyshot doing sneak attack. Its like your on speed or something. . . .

    Anyways, link here: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=313659

If you are going for max dps though 20 rogue is the best way.

I always tell people that do these threads to go full rogue. The capstone is really really good for repeater toons. The int adds to damage and the 4 sneak attack dice are awesome.

halfling pure rogue, 14 sneak attack dice, mechanic II, rogue capstone, can get Dex and INT above 30. Full UMD, traps, great saves etc.

I am convinced that pure rogue is the best way to go. make sure you grap improved precise shot and go to town with a fancy radiance II or Lit II repeater.

something like this. No kensai but there is the crippling strike, improved precise shot full sa + capstone and nice int damage modifier. Honestly thought Repeaters won't match up with melees or rangers, unfortunately.

Although I made such a build I agree with maxallu. Pure rogue will really make the repeater shine. I will probably TR my split mechanic in the future into full rogue. He was an experiment build that really did well.

Also its only 14 SA die as I believe Max was thinking of assassin.

There's a decent argument now that if you are going to splash a mechanic that you do it with 6 ranger to pick up DWS for the increased sneak attack range.
