I completely agree with this statement. *And I'm not referring to Erekose when I say this* But I REALLYZ hate people that lose their temper because they believe they are "entitled" to a certain item or l00tz: Cause they've worked harder and l00ted more than everyone else.
And yes, I've resorted to begging for l00t before and will probably do it again *if I need something to finish a crafting project.* but I know where my hypocracy level is.
I am, Rameses!

Had that happen just last night in an epic Last Stand. The other fvs in the group mentioned he was after the seal of the souleater as it was the last piece to finish the item, which is totally fine with me. It helps avoid items just sitting in the chest or being pulled because nobody spoke up.
What does annoy me is when that sense of entitlement('I deserve preferential treatment') crops up. The above fvs kept talking about it being the last piece he needed to complete. I've been wanting to make a quickstick build for a while, so if I got the seal it would be going into my bag, not his. If it dropped to someone else and went to roll, I would have rolled on it. Unfortunately it didn't drop so that piece of pseudo-drama never came to be.
Once and done to get the word out there is cool, hammering it to the group and expecting to get it out of someone hands who may want it is not, especially if its a pug(which in this case, it was).
Tl;dr version:
Look, I believe in an unspoken rule, that if you can't use it, it goes up for roll. If you're using it for crafting, take it, or put it up for roll. No one is entitled to anything. Ever. If you're in a PUG, be a team player. If it's a +2 tome, that's one thing, though. If it's BOA(character) if you can't use it, it goes up for roll. If it's BOA(Account) then I can see you taking it. -Shrugs.- Just depends on the situation. Don't be a moron about it.

Proud member of.,.....Whats our guild name?
OG i think I am going puke I am agreeing with Jon D. LOL!!
I am probably the one person that at the moment doesnt care too much about epic gear. I have passed to guildies, put up for roll and even sold stuff no one else wanted more times than I wish to count.
However I can't stand when someone not in my guild says I really need that finish crafting please. First off I don't know if your lying to me or not. I mean it could be your first piece yet your hollaring its your last piece. Secondly it could be your 5th set.
Like Yaga said items rot in peoples banks for 6 months because they loose the roll 100 times to people that are making their 5th or 15th item of the same thing.
Their has been one epic Item I have been trying to make dont ask why I just like them. The Kundarak Warding Bracers. I have every item but either the shard or seal cant remember off hand (dont worry I check when I am playing before I roll on the items).
I have had the scroll, item and either seal or shard since Epic Velah was released I havent been able to win a roll nor see the item I need in over 60 epic von 6's between all my lvl 20 toons. So its been rotting in my bank since Epic Von 6 came out.
I will express to my guild in guild chat or vent that its my last piece for my first ever crafted epic item (other than the epic event stuff).
But I dont whine or cry if someone beats me on the roll or even if someone won the roll and I have lost to that same person 5 times for the same item.
Now how about those greedy son of a guns that roll on each epic item thats put up for roll even if they pulled or won a roll already. I have seen 1 person pull 4 or 5 items cause they won the rolls for them. I say bull ****.
