Always been curious, But which Server is the most active as far as pvp? Which Server has the UBERIST players in the game as far as pvp goes? I mean, I've been seeing a lot of **** about pvp, not fair this, rules that, a whole bunch of bs imo. For example, If there was some place dedicated to pvp, Where people from all the servers could meet up and fight ( yes waste of time, its a pve game blah blah blah) to see whose the best and most elite in the game, Which server would it be.? I know pvp seems like a waste of time to most and is fairly cheap and whatever, but in a way its human nature to want to be competitive whether its friendly or not. You might say u dont care about pvp and this and that, but if you've ever even stood up on that top balcony watching then you've asked yourself at least once if u were better than a certain person u were watching. Which brings me back to my question, Which Server has the best pvp'ers that you know of.? Would help if the person posting a response has at least a few toons throughout at least a few servers.

Meet up on Lamannia. Your question on who has the best, depends. Are you talking the best pvper's who just use damage spells, or pvper's who use everything available (stones, tr missiles, savant abilities, holds...etc)?

sorry to dull your enthusiasm, but the "best and the most elite" would hardly be shown by a PvP contest. I can take a no fort, 200 hp, level 18 fire savant and roflpown your 600 capped hp 70 str twinked blitzbuild consistantly in pvp.

(hint, its because in terms of pvp, classes are not balanced in any sense of the term, ESPECIALLY after mod 9)

this game is to PvE focused for pvp to work well unless in that pvp instance you speak of changed all values for all spells and damages, etc. etc.

OP: For various reasons casters/divine are down right the strongest pvp builds without speccing them for pvp. However, that is not to say just because your a caster/divine doesn't mean a melee cant own you.

I myself have a range of respect for fellow pvper's and it is safe to say there is no sacred cow. U9 Has certainly distanced some classes from others, but if you are curious to know, I usually break it down as who is best.

I do hold very few as the best "all around" as they have classess for each and pretty much control the pit with whatever class they play - those I can count on 3 fingers though.

Thelanis has some pretty solid pvper's as well as some of the worst I have ever seen.

Ah, the question is not who is the most skilled, the question is who talks the best trash?

not to mention "best" can be defined in many different ways- youd have to split it into:
best CCer, best Nuker, Best melee dps er, most survivable melee with dps, most survivable useful caster, best all out healer, toughest healer, most effective damage (includes stuns, cc, instakilling, etc.) etc.etc.etc.

and many of those dont come out in pvp... really youd have to have some sort of big organized tournament or something...

I dunno, there are some nasty toons on Khyber besides the Tuk clones. A couple of PMs, a clonk or two and an air savant, among others,could all give them a run for their money.

Of course, good luck getting them all into a tournament together. Your shields can't handle that level of drama.

The devs should make an all grand tourn of the best PvPers of each server and then they face off.

then theyd get like 2 actual good people, the best people on Khyber dont do pvp, mostly because they know that its too unbalanced to mean anything other than screwing around, they are busy 3manning eVON and elite TOD :P

You'd be suprised at the turn out rate on other servers. I know Khyber wants to be the elitist but yall have 1 guild doing that lmfao

PvP is also about how low your latency is ... Europeans have 100+ ms, so when they're chasing someone with an axe, they think they hit but they're actually 10 feet behind. It's the same for casters and their ray spells.

My 2 cents, I only play on Ghallanda.
But I can pretty much assure this is how it is.
I'll provide some basic info about them as well for the new players and interested.

Best pvpers / strongest builds / deadliest builds
( There isn't a best one since everyone has skills )

Highseer
Gatekeeper ( Highseer build 18/2 WF)
Itachi (doesn't really play anymore but he's alright) Sorcerer Pure WF
Emphasized or Afterimage. Raptor Hybrid AA Kensai Ranger and19/1 Speed Necromancer

Couple other folks, good evasion FvS, like

Aivenek 700+ HP FvS
Lifesupport 700+ HP FvS
Avius 18/2 Cleric

And maybe a very select amount of hybrid builds, Barbarians, Monks and the like.
But as of now casters, rangers prevail.
