Just another idea to float out there:

Perhaps have the WF capstone give them Divine Sacrifice 1 as an ability.

Not denying that at all - It's a nice buff no doubt and one I would use every time just for the 1.5 damage.. Was just comparing it to the other.

On another note.. The DA thread got a lot of hopes up for fortification change, that might give more choices for DR/fort. capstone in the future.

That would be pretty darn sweet.. Might tick off some paladins out there tho.

They could make the Shield capstone spell useful and not need to change it by letting you cast it on other people.

    Melees would lurve that.

    Default We already get enough.

As someone who already enjoys playing their Lord of Blades, I'd say if you boost it too much, there'd be no draw toward playing another type of FvS at all for those with access to the WF race. While some of the suggestions here would certainly be nice, I think they go too far.

This is what I thought it would be before I got to 20 but realize why it is self only. Maybe they could limit it to one other party member at a time that you could put it on, like the cleric's cooldown on Divine Intervention effectively does, or the AoV's new Name Champion mechanic. Then it could be a nice perk without being overpowered.
    "What? Where?" *clunk, thud* :-)

Evokers just got interesting again and noone would go wf on an evoker

Honestly.. After half-orc was introduces and PM got boosted i don't really see WF as having any class they excel at unlike most other races, so in that respect I wouldn't see it as over the top..
That said.. I'm darn tired of seeing barbarian half-orcs and drow palemasters.

My own fvs would probably even be better of going half-orc as well.. Would lose 3 dr and gain a lot of DPS and healing amp.

The cleric cap is a lot greater than a 1 person only shield spell.. Besides, the lord of blades don't mix well with 'fleshies' at all, so lore-wise it should be warforged only IMO

    EDIT: mistype correction
