Gee, my caster gets into as many Abbots as she wants - just got her 12th in about 2 months since she flagged. But yeah, there does seem a vastly smaller number of pugs this year than last, at all levels (which is making it hard for me to get my "main" back to cap grrrrrrr).

I wouldn't count on that. Alot of new games on alot of systems are scheduled to come out over the next few months including Neverwinter Online Beta which could syphon off alot of ddoers.

With an extended lack of new high level content, more people at cap tend to TR or leave/take a break.

Add to that, it is now spring/summer, and more people are going outside...

Speaking just for my own experience, I'm mostly in TR world now--aside from the occasional epic--until we see end game content that makes sense for a player in my situation.

Across eleven toons, I acquired 95% of the loot for which I set goals (**** you Thornlord and 2nd ESoS!!!!). Sure there is always something shiny to get, but I shun the diminishing return on investment experienced for getting that final 5% of gearing out. For example, running 200 combined ToD/Ev6/edq's for a +4 str tome to complete a character.

I've continously played on Argo since Day 1, with no significant breaks, nothing more than a week. I've done this by being flexible with change, having open expectations, and always thinking long term. With the recent state of the game address, I am focusing on TR's and (GASP) perhaps playing a bit less

I'm not thrilled, but I am also preparing for new epic quests and fun high end non-epic quests with worthwhile loot whenever they may come (slight ray of hope for U10 for that level 18 raid).
