Not sure what your plans are but just in case, as of last update they can no longer be turned in for guild renown.

I heard the same thing, but then I heard (read) that they can still be turned in for renown as long as you are "at level". Folks were saying that level 10 seems to be the "magic number".

Haven't had a chance to check myself...might try this evening after work.
