    Default 12 wizard/8 rogue repeater necro

    Had a interesting thought the self healing of a pale master coupled with a mechanic rogue for ranged damage due to having a high int. Thoughts and how would i go about this.

    Your spells (if you went full Wizard PM instead) would not only put any ranged damage from 8 rogue levels to shame, it would also beat that level 8 rogue's mother with a broken lawn chair while slapping its father with a month old tuna and *censored* all 4 of its sisters simultaneously.

    That said, your ranged damage would be about the equivalent of a level 8 rogue.... The self healing would be largely irrelevant as you would not be taking any aggro (unless you do not play intelligently), and thus, not getting hit.

    How to do it:

    Absolute requirements - get these or don't bother
    Precise Shot
    Improved Precise Shot
    Point blank shot (required for Precise shot)
    Min base Dex 19 (Also required for Imp precise shot)
    Rapid Reload (Is it working for repeaters? If it is not, do not get.)
    Spell focus Necromancy (required for PM)
    Improved Crit - Ranged (Unless you craft your greensteelblahblah)


    Useful for your self healing:
    Maximise
    Empower
    Mental Toughness (If you want Wraith form - stacks with displacement)

    Useful for any character, may or may not be necessary for this particular build:
    Toughness (Your stat spread may require you to lose points in CON)

    So there is a start. Some major problems you'll be encountering are your stat spread: Everybody needs an at least decent CON, yours can be lower since you are definitely never up front. You will however pull aggro on things that have not been already engaged by someone else (Improved precise shot), so play intelligently. You need a high DEX to offset your lower BAB and even just to qualify for Imp precise shot. You need high INT for damage. You need at least a little STR because being encumbered/helpless sucks.

    The main value would mostly be from a bit better boss dps (assuming repeaters are fixed and you stay within sneak attack range). But generally, your power level would be much lower than a pure PM. If you are serious about this type of build, think about 13wiz/7rogue. 8th lvl rogue gives you nothing of note, 13th level of wiz gives you lvl 7 spells (most importantly finger of death).

    in no way is 12/8 going to give you more boss damage than pure 20 of either...

    Well, level 20 of either would still be far superior, but that said - 13 levels of wizard is not going to be fingering of death much of anything that did not want to be fingered in the first place.

    It was only a thought and i might be serious about it just for the fun of it. so who knows think ill keep working at it
