Yes that's a stand-up desk. About a quarter of our team prefers them; I've been thinking about getting one myself.
Nice
When I was still in the Army, one of our friends went to a course. While gone, we made sure to cover every square inch of his barracks room with each and every bottle and can of alcohol that we drank in the month he was on, and the bed was a good place for all the caps. Was quite the fun scene.
Is it bad that I'm now thinking of ways to up this?

"No, live snakes would be funnier."

"No, those stand-up sparklers inside fake monitors would be way funnier."

Nice. We had a co-worker who had a very small office and for his birthday once, we literally filled it with balloons -- as it to the ceiling/he opened the door and a tidal wave of them poured out.
I went on vacation from my office for a week and when I came back my associates wallpapered every single inch of my 15x30 office with yellow sticky notes. I came in at 4 in the morning to get work done and I did not have to turn on the lights to see my way into the room because of the glow!
I was the network operations manager of the 2nd largest pharma company in the US. I had to share my office with more racks than a South Padre Island pool party and it was a bit cold, so the water would have been refreshing. Now I am on on the road 75% of the time, so my office is where ever I can get a good enough aircard signal
Mmmm, another thought.
Annoy-a-Tron implanted into the back of his chair while he's gone, if you have someone with some upholstery skills.
He hears a sound. Turns. Nothing.
Random intervals, random sounds. All the while, right behind him. Who said there's such a thing as workplace productivity?
Happened to me at work when I went on vacation; even the salt shaker the the papers I had pinned and on my desk got tin foiled.
You call that a prank?
This is a prank: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycnJbfysho0

Do not drink the awesome-sauce......One must BE the awesome-sauce.
On his birthday, my dad had every piece of his cube wrapped in birthday paper. They took apart his chair and wrapped each individual piece. He lost an entire day unwrapping his cube.
Not work related but...
When my aunt and uncle got married, we strung up their apartment. Crisscrossed it all over the place making sure it was tied to delicate things. Every room, every lamp, every thing in cabinets, every thing was tied to every thing.
We stacked wine glasses on either side of the doorway so they could see the delicate start they had. They were tied to all the other string.
We left them some scissors, the kindergarten kind that don't cut but, we also placed them out of reach.
Disappointed and without trust in the powers that be.

lol is it bad I could hear my mom yelling about all that wasted foil? shes an old New yorker and if I showed her those pictures she would go off on how much money your coworkers just wasted lol.
Cool prank though but oh my god I am still laughing at the thought of her reaction to seeing something like that.

I saw something very similar to this done at a former place of employment. The culprits showed me this image as their inspiration.
