Default Pro/Con List for WF or HO or a Main Tank?

I've only played WF toons so far, but I am very interested in TRing my 12/8 fighter/monk split into a Half Orc.

Could I get some pros and cons from various people for why WF is better(and worse) and why Half Orc is better(and worse).

    TIA

I guess most of the reasons are pretty straight forward?

HO: Higher Strength, so more DPS.
WF: Higher Constitution, more HP. Immunities. Ability to be repaired by arcanes. Those come with: Healing resistance, requiring more healing amplification.

Both have access to similar Power Attack/THF damage increasing skill lines.

So as an oppinion, WF make better main takes due to a higher durability. Properly built, both a WF and a HO will be able to maintain agro so it would come down to which would be the last man standing.
I play this game. It is fun.

As a healer I have come to love WF since Half Orcs came out.

1-WF can be healed by arcane and divine, so if something goes wrong, or its late at night you have more options,

2- There are a ton of Half Orc out there with no healing amp at all, no DR, etc

Now that -Fortification effects are making their way into the game, Warforged have an advantage there as well with their higher base Fort.
At least until everyone else has ways to get more Fort. (Currently a Sentinel Dragonmarked human can get some more when using the Chimera's Fang bastard sword, but that's it.)

WF, it is hard to beat a second form of healing. Add a DoD (20dr) for high end raiding and you are unstoppable.

lame. yea this is the kind of pros/cons list im looking for. . .so my SF would be even less. . .i dunno if that's worth it

while i've enjoyed being a WF because people say 'i can be healed by both' i have yet to come across a time where another caster was brought in specifically to heal me for when i tank. never have i come across a caster that carried both the spell and the scrolls to alternate between.

so sadly that has been no benefit to me what so ever. and the fact that i dont have to waste so many gear slots for healing amp would be nice.

i dunno though, my stunning blow DC is high enough since that's what my main focus was in the start. now the with addition of stunning fist that has moved down to my primary stun since it's just a 6 second timer. so TRing into a HO to just get an increase to stunning blow and not stunning fist will probably prevent me from going that route.

that really sucks though. i was getting excited to try out the half orc race

Just talking about the position of maintank for situations where this job is actually performed, not some typical MMORPG trinity / average questing while leveling talk. Just endgame.

Horcs have a very slight DPS advantage, thus they hold aggro a little bit easier.

WF have a little HP advantage, and the hughe advantage of being repairable by arcanes. And this repairing is also not affected by healing curses, so you have more people who can take the role of maintank healer and share it. Less strain on individual resources, more healing power in tight situations. When the arcanes heal the maintank this leavesthe divines full attention to keep the rest of the group alive and doing spotheals on the maintank.

---> WF are better for the Maintank position.

about the wf hit points. not only do they get the con as race atribute. but the toughness enhancments are only 2 ranks for half orcs and 4 ranks for warforged. so 20+ hp and the +2 to con.
