Ah, I see you found the appropriate subforum... I just typed a response in your other one, that was in the "Lammania Crafting Discussion" subforum.
Very useful for wasting an inventory/bag slot.
Otherwise does nothing.
Probably be used when crafting gets beyond it's current level...I'm guessing though but it does make some sense.
I got some kind of mystical veggy thingy offered yesterday as an end reward for Rainbow. It was a crafting ingredient so I'm figuring that the fish will be used at some point.
Disappointed and without trust in the powers that be.

Probably to be implemented in the future, near or far, who knows. I remember back before cap was raised past 10, around dragon raid intro if i remember right, people kept finding odd collectables that had no use. (the bowls, candles, etc i believe) You could chuck them, or hold onto them, whatever you felt like, but i'd hold onto them so you will have them ready to use whenever they do get useful, and you won't have to farm them if they are good.
Blatant Thread-Necro : What is this used for, now ? The Wiki says it is for "Dusk", but it remains very unspecific on everything else.
Has someone been actually crafting with it ? If so, what are the steps ? How is this ingredient actually used for crafting ?
And what is meant with "Dusk" anyway ? Because the Wiki says that there are several items (?) with the name "Dusk" ? Or have I misunderstood something there ?
Just as it says: it's used to craft shards with the Dusk item enchantment, which is a +3 value suffix which can be crafted onto armor (light, medium, heavy, cloth, docent) and cloaks. It gives you a persistant 10% concealment effect, causing 10% of all (otherwise successful) melee attacks made against you to miss.

Do I simply put the Fish into the ... thing ... erm, what's the best word to describe it ? "Barter UI" as I often read here ?
Do I merely put the fish into it ? And do I need additional ingredients ? What crafting level do I need for it ?
These are the points which are missing in the Wiki.
And that's why I ask here.
It's a level 100 Elemental (probably Air) Cannith crafting recipe - you'll need your Elemental skill up to 90 or higher. It'll require the same stuff that any high-end Cannith shard requires (in addition to the mystical dried fish); lots of essences, dragonshard fragments, purified eberron dshard fragments, possibly a (stack of) collectible(s). If you want the exact ingredients list, go to the Crafting Hall in house K or C, find the Bound Shards device, change the level range to 1-100, type "Dusk" into the search box, and check the listing.

Thank you.
Could someone please update the Wiki for it ?
To be specific:
15 greater air essences, 80 lesser air essences, 3 Purified Eberron Dragonshard Fragments, 3 Chipped Bone Talismans, 1 Mystical Dried Fish.
Why would anyone go to that trouble and expense for an effect you get on ML 8 Mabar cloak is beyond me.
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
"Of course it is. Are YOU going to question beholder's artistic sense?"
Wish we could feed the fish to the kitty pet (not the hireling) to convert it to an at level hireling for 1 hour.
Why is Mystical Dried Fish still on the loot tables?
Havent it been out of use for years?
