Like it needs to be said again, not sure if anyone has mentioned anything about this. When selecting ship buffs we should be promted by a window which has two options. One which will open the vendor to different ship buffs if you wish to replace a shrine or person.

The other should be an option to refresh ship buffs which will take the correct amount of money from your character and work as though you had just extended the contract.
