Craft a blank, use dod.....still btc? WAI?

Was just wondering about this.

So I was messing around, made a blank, crafted it with a shard, used the dust of disjunction on it to make it a blank again, and it was still BTC?

It's not, I sold a blank on the AH. But it was one I just used the DOD on and then sold. Have another one on there right now.

This one I used DOD, crafted, used DOD again.

Bound items hold their binding when disjuncted.
So you made a blank, then crafted it with a shard, making it bound, then disjuncted it, leaving a bound blank.
