    Default Collapsed Portable Holes...which quests

Are there any quests where these drop more often? AH prices on Cannith are a little too high for me and I was trying to pick one up, I need some pack space in a bad way!

I would just post on Cannith marketplace on the forums, that you need one. They drop in a lot of quests. in the 8-12th lvl range. Most long time players have a bunch laying around and let them go for next to nothing if you ask nicely.

    Good luck!

I once got one from a rare encounter in the Sands of Mechtawhachamajigger, over to the east where the Gnolls and the buffalo roam.

    It's worth a shot.

yea buy the giant hold pack after you buy vale if you don't have them. Those two give great rewards and experience. Gianthold (Gh) gives a portable hole when you get enough favor and you will see veteran players running this on elite all the time to get favor.

If you don't get one before, look me up and I'll toss ya one. I'll be on around 9pm EST. Send me an ingame mail, and I'll send it off.

I've seen more drop in Stormcleave (normal and hard) than in any other quest.

I've found CPHs everywhere - I've found a total of about 10 between my 4 characters over the past year, and none of them have been in the same place. Explorer areas, quests, raids, end rewards (and the Argonessen Favor reward as well)

Collapsed Portable Holes can drop in any quest that is high enough level (7th level quests might drop them as end rewards sometimes, but I don't remember the exact quest level). You are probably going to get your first one as the first favor turn-in from the Agents of Argonessen if you have the Gianthold pack just because they are somewhat uncommon.

You can also buy them from the Auction House.

Good answers. Thanks to the folks who replied.

I was wondering this one myself, now that I'm level 15 and have run a ton of quests, I still have yet to see one pop up.

^^ this is what will keep new blood playing this game. I feel the same way. I received lots of help when I was new in the form of plat, items and in game support. Must pay it forward because it makes someone elses expperience good too. Too bad I am on Thelanis.

I've always had pretty decent luck in Gwyaln's Stand on Hard/Elite for collapsed portable holes - particularly in the trapped chest at the end.

As an offhand note - if you still need one (I know you already have one standing offer, so this may be redundant), send me a mail on any of my alts listed below and I can send you a spare.

Since it is something tied to our 150 Coin Lord favor and if your a newb you have to pay out the nose to have fixed and useable anyways.....I really think Turbine should increase the drop rate on these or add them to one of the chain quests as an end reward option.....not always there but a chance to be.

I think it being a super rare drop is ridiculous myself........pigeon holing it to just a for sure for the Agent favor reward is too restricting as well, as now there are even more choices for that reward.

Seriously...you have to only pay 20-80k gold to unlock your extra bank spaces and you can also buy extra bank spaces from the store.

Do the right think and just get rid of the need for a CPH period...either that or remove the ridiculous 100k to repair it so people have more money to buy it from the AH if need be.

I'm really glad there are people out there who try to help others out.

I started playing a few months ago, got hooked fast and went VIP, and have been loving the game so far.

Overall the community on here has been EXTREMELY helpful. I've come to the forums a lot for guidance on builds, quests, even how to hit one of those lever targets with a stinking arrow (mouselook mode ftw!) and I've nver asked a question and not gotten some helpful responses.

To all the vets who help others out, a big huge THANK YOU. It probably doesn't get said enough, you guys make navigating the game a lot easier to new folks and are greatly appreciated!

I disagree with this. Everything can't have an easy button. It's what makes the game challenging and exciting. You want a portable hole? Get the GH quests done on elite so you get the favor to select one. Need plat to fix it? Run the Vale for loot to sell to get your 100K gold. It's not hard, its just takes a few hours of play time.

I'm not saying everything should have an easy button at all, but it really makes absolutely no freekin sense at all that you can easily have the 150 Coin Lord favor by like level 4 and if your a newb not have the money and/or CPH to get the 5th pack slot until level12+ if ur lucky.

    Sorry that's just silly.
