Which one is better

Was arguing with some guildies about this a while back.

running tod on elite on a level 20 pally, for boss beaters i was using a min 2 and a lit 2. didnt seem to doing much, so i looked in my bag and found a mettaline of glob. some of the people kept telling it was vendor trash and get either another min 2 or a metal/silver of pg.

im almost positive that the met/glb is better then the met/pg, but how about a min 2? is it worth making a 2nd?

Assuming you're capstoned, Met of GLOB is definitely better than any MetPG.

As for better than MinII, assuming you're using Khopeshes:

+X Met of GLOB vs. MinII

MinII has 2-X more base damage, and Met of GLOB has 1 extra non-base damage. Khopesh multiplies base damage by 1 + (8/20) = 1.4 on average, vs 0% fort, or 1.2 vs. 50% fort. So, Met of GLOB meets MinII when X satisfies (2-X) * 1.2 = 1, or X = 1.167.

So, if you have a +1, MinII is slightly better. Any more, and the Met GLOB is better. Either way, there's little reason to make a MinII. Those "people" were very wrong to call that vendor trash.

If you use Scimitars or Rapiers, the case for the Met GLOB is even better.

Also, as a level 14+ Pali, you do about Holy Sword, right? There's little reason to make a MinII when you have that, even ignoring the Met GLOB.
