    Default Harbinger of Madness

I did a casual test run with my main toon, 17th level fighter, and a pocket healer. I picked up a couple named items in the series, so the drop rate is good. A Jr High garage band supplies some music on a couple quests. But the general feeling of the quests is creepy, I assume that's what the devs were going for. I came prepared for aberrations, evil outsiders, oozes, and vorpalables which is all I needed, I probably missed more then a few secret doors, but it was okay. There's alot of fighting and not to much thinking, with a few areas where you have to kill everything to get through a door, so it slows some zerging. For the story oriented players, there is a bit of reading material that is completely useless otherwise. I did enjoy myself, eventhough I never came close to dying. I would like to try it with a group on elite just for the challenge, but maybe it might be hard enough for my non-fighter toons. I will probably run it with my pally within a few days which will give me a better perspective, he doesn't have a 50 AC or 450+ HP, so it should be a bit more challenging. All in all, I will run the new quest series with each of my toons, more to see what they can handle and to continue my research on what the perfect toon is for me. Tell me what you thought of it. It didn't knock my socks off, but it didn't suck either. I even suggested my wife spend points on it. I guess it's better then average.
