Spell respec but not enhancements...

*** do we have to wait 3 days to test out diff enhancements still with all the spell changes???? Sure we can use our token for free spell changes for 1 hour but how does this help test things out... How can i test one without the other...

Anyone else see a problem with this?

Im not concerned about the ap loss, thats not a big deal.. resetting enhancements isnt so hard and ive had to do it quite a few times over the years...

Lammania is the test server, if you wanted to test it out, that would have been the place to do it.

Nothing stopping you from saving that potion and swapping out spells normally until you have your mind made up.

What???? Do i work for ddo? No! They dont pay me to test out the game. So... I dont play on the test server... They once sent me an invite for the mournlands(sp) server. But once again thats more like working for turbine and once again they dont pay me so i dont work out the bugs in the system for them, you want to work for them for free have at it...

So no it was NOT my responsibilty to goto the test server.

Is my request that bad to want to switch out enhancements and well as spells in this time frame?!?! and not wait every 3 days to do so....

Lammania is the PREVIEW server, if you wanted to PREVIEW UPDATE 9, that would have been the place to do it.

Nothing stopping you from saving that potion and swapping out spells normally until you have your mind made up.

You may have missed the second sentence, which explains how to have both swaps on the same timer.

Edit: Also, it's not like you are REQUIRED to submit bugs on Lammania, nor try out ANY of the new things being released.

Preview server test server whatever. What we need on LIVE is a 24 hr token for spells AND enhancements.

I just got my first toon to 20 and it was a sorc two weeks later this change comes in and my toon is no longer exactly how I wanted it. That is how things work I would rather have a toon borked every few months than have no updates.

The point is that, no matter what Turbine chooses to label it, Lamania is a test server. Otherwise there would not be modifications made to the client based on user feedback, updates would just go live as is.

Its just something id like to be able to do. Others dont like it and the neg rep im getting shows.. They must like spending their spare time on preview/test servers. I do not.

I was just mainly miffed that they didn't give me my ap's back. I mean the enhancements are no longer there, and I guess they took my ap's with em to limbo.

Couldn't I have just had them back? And I don't think that potion switches enhancements, least it didn't say so in the description. Only spell swaps for an hour.

Yeah, I'd agree it was a pretty miserable oversight by Turbine. Then again, a simple respec was the fix.

Wish they'd given sorcs a dragonshard though. Did ANYONE have spell focus feats before this?
