Hey guys Its recently come to my attention that the ONLY way to change your Race is a TR (I thought you could do so with LR/GR but you cannot) and I really want to actually look like a wizard which requires the ability to wear a robe which Turbine has refused to let a Warforged do...even going as far as making the Named caster docents not look castery in the least.
So I'm going to start over as either a Human or an Elf Wizard unless the Devs come out and say "Race Change is on the way" but that's not likely.
Anyways theres two ways I'm thinking of going with my TR shown below.
The first is focusing on being as tough as possible wihtout sacrificng Caster Prowess through the use of Human enhancements/extra feat and the use of a shield (for the 15-20% damage reduction with a large shield+ feat) and a 1h Caster weapon (ie. Skiver) but it very much depends on how well the crafting system works (ie. whether i can put Lore,etc. on a shield or not)
The second is just my Standard Wizard build with Monk Splash for Feats + Evasion with a little fun thrown in. (See this thread for reasoning of Monk vs. Rogue http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=310689 ... mind you this was originally a WF Build) I'm going Elf due to the +4 Spell Pen through enhancements and hopefully Earth Stance will offset the Con Penalty.
I have no idea what Element I will focus on for either build but since that's mostly enhancement based and Wizards can easily swap spells around I won't worry too much about it
