Default Feats list after the update

So I'm planning on TRing my wizzy into a sorceror. I've been planning this since before savant was announced, so now I need to adjust what I want to do, obviously.

Where I'm getting caught up is on feats to take.

Will be warforged pure Sorc, so 7 feats to work with.

    Stats for context:
    Str: 10
    Dex: 8
    Con: 18
    Int: 10
    Wis: 10
    Cha 16

current proposed feat list (in no particular order):
    Toughness
    Maximize
    Empower
    Heighten
    Spell Pen
    Greater Spell pen
    Extend?

Is the Wizzy past life feat worth fitting in there?

For every 2 caster levels beyond first you gain an additional missile, maximum 10 missiles.
Should I drop greater spell pen in favor of the past life feat since I'm already getting an extra +2 spell pen from the passive past life feat? Or should I maybe take extend early and then drop it later in favor of the others?

I'm leaning towards dropping the greater spell pen to fit it in but I'd like to hear other opinions on feats.

EDIT: just noticed the Spell Focus feat requirement for Savant II ... so now I need to fit that in too.

    Cheers

Just out of curiousity, why extend?
This feat has been mainly neutered in U9, as it no longer applies to spells other than buffs, from what I've read. Unless you REALLY want that haste to last longer instead of just recasting it...

at 20 it's more of a convenience thing for some lower duration buffs (Haste/Rage). At low levels it's a quality of life thing but somewhere around level 12 I could see it being dropped.

Especially since I just saw the Spell focus feat required for any Savant tier 2. So now it gets tougher.

Mainly need Spell pen for non damaging attacks (like hold).

You could forgo it in favor of nuking the (low level explicative deleted) out of things on a savant.....

Or remove extend since it only applies to buffs now.

yes, the wizard past life is worth it (drop greater spell pen), and if you want to go savant ditch extend unless you have really really good hit points even without toughness (which is possible, if you have lots of good gear, but in general... i'd ditch extend. toughness would only be on the list of stuff to drop for something like quicken, in your case, to get uninterruptible reconstruct.
