I am not sure about the numbers, but the first day I was playing with this, I hit Gula twice for 1200 points. The first Shroud I ran I was critting Harry (with no condemation applied) pretty regularly for around 600.

Yesterday I realised that I did not have the Prayer of Incredible Smiting line and respecced. Didn't go back to Gula or Harry, but fought a rare, the horned devil I think, in the Shavarath wildreness area and hit for 1500 something.

I am using on a Favored Soul Evoker build with the full smiting enhancement line, a Skiver in one hand and the Virt necklace. I have to imagine there are people seeing higher numbers with better equipment than I have, namely the Eardweller.

I too was pretty amazed at how powerful this spell was, especially in the hands of an AOV FvS.

That was, until I got on my 20 Sorc, and made her a Water Savant. There is no comparison to the raw amount of DPS the new Sorc Pre's bring. First Shroud with her, and 2 other water savants, was pretty impressive. The new standard of DPS in the Shroud will not be how many rounds part 4 was, but what fraction of a round it was. In ours he was dead in 2/3 of a round.

Beat on him with my Dreamspitter between casts.
For the Saligia fight, I've found it much easier and efficient to simply just ignore him after the doors open again. He will follow you, and since you're going to be using BB to kill trash in the hallways anyway, he'll get hit with them as well. The Orthon normally doesn't make it down the hallway to the traps when I take out the group of trash that spawns just before there.
