    Default Abbot

I host several abbots weekly and most people from the server know that I will only run this legit with the raid as a whole a moderately decent success rate (failure is usually not due to goggles). But as of late my groups have seem to be more static. So what I'm offering is for anyone at all that is interested in learning how to do goggles legitimate please type your name here. My play time is pretty available and am willing to work with anyone that's willing to listen and learn. So just post toons name and we'll get a time set to practice. For quicker training have a healer/caster off timer.

I have seen your lfm's and applaud you for the effort. I only run litany for the exp and finish after the puzzle, but if I decide to abbot flag arrael I would be happy to join a training session

You are doing a good thing and it's nice to see someone has the motivation to educate people. I will suggest that you might want to consider teaching Ice the way it was intended as well because it will also result in a higher success rate in Abbot raids for a couple reasons. First, it will allow for parties to not be so concerned with "needing" a DI cleric or Ninja Spy monk. Second, the increase in the number of people that actually learn to use wands effectively will allow for an even greater success rate when it comes to saving the party during Infernos. This is just food for thought.

As a side note, if you need/want assistance at all with the practice sessions, I am willing to help out if I am not already preoccupied.

Perhaps you already do this as I don't know how you run things.

I believe it'd be advantageous to consider training the spotters. Throw newbies into the spotting role, it's easy enough to explain what a spotter needs to do. And depending on their luck, encourage them to participate in goggles/ice.

I've always been irritated by Other leaders that Force their spotters to suicide (1 or even 2 more unnecessary deaths to raise during the abbot fight) even when they ask nicely, have a clue and just want a chance to try.

Edit* Considering that you can learn the gist of everything just from watching, which wastes no time at all for the group. And then your actual attempt at goggles would take a mere minute, I don't see why not invest that extra minute in the middle of a raid. Odds are that Asteroid room is still ticking away. Again, I'm not talking about your groups, ranting against other groups I've seen and been in.

I do my Abbots a little differently. I actually use three spotters and those three are gonna be the people I know that can do all three puzzles without an issue.

Then the jobs are broken down like this:
    Roids- Spotter + 3 others
    Ice- Spotter + 1 other
Goggles - Spotter + everyone else

I have a healer and wiz that both have completed sigils, just need to finish the Litany runs then I would really like to come and learn the raid/puzzles.

    Names are:
    Kinisar (lvl 20 cleric)
    Erifeci (lvl 20 wiz)

Going to try and get Litany done tonight or tomorrow with a couple of guildies and they would probably be interested too if there's room.

Thanks for doing this, I'll watch for your LFM's or feel free to shoot me a tell.
