I haven't seen this kind of complaining in this game regarding changes since the original enhancement changes from the old 4 enhancement system.

Imagine if Turbine had never done that. Prestige class enhancements would not be in the game now. Many different other options would not be available. The old system was inadequate and needed change despite all the doomsayers and threatens to leave the game at that time.

This update is very much the same. People don't realize what kind of flexibility this kind of break from the traditional ddo spell system is going to create. The changes are really strong but people are resistant to what they are unfamiliar with.

For those that want to call out teh devs and say they are making a huge mistake I hope its as huge as the old enhancement changes as that just means the game will be much better.

My only two complaints about U9 are that Sorcs now outclass other DPS classes such as barbarians, and crafting needs work still. Other than that, this is the best update in a long while.


Faster paced Epics with more threatening (better saves) but less durable mobs? Check
Vorpals buffed to make them relevant to endgame players for the first time since Epics launched? Check
Spells adjusted so that dozens of them are now worth casting? Check
Minor quality of life fixes? Check

Alright.. Now we have lowest Hit point, lowest armor class and Highest threat generator class in the game ..and those also have lowest Self healing option...( also they get great hit for CC which once life saver ) ... Sorcs .. I think forums will have more Hate Posts in near future than it predicted with related to U9 . Also We have seen ignorance of Main Stat in a RPG which Sirgogs creation is a great Example.. with U9 We can add WF Sorcs next to WF Favored Soul Survivors who has Penalty to their Classes Main Stat but More efficient in Game.. So before Pale Master Tweak there great gloom and Doom posts ... We can easily expect have a great Feed back after U9.

I personally hate seeing these cry babies whining everytime there is a change to a game. This b.s. reminds me of Guild Wars when they nerfed "Shadow Form". Alot of ppl whined on forums and in game all you'd see is "I'm quitting the game due to the Shadow Form nerf." Ppl, learn to adapt to change. Wall of Fire isn't the only spell in the game. Learn to use other spells and different things too. The game gives you lots of different options and ways you can create a good character. Besides, playing the game over & over again the same old way would get boring & repetitive. Gotta make things interesting once in a while. Try something new

Just roll your sneak sorc with augmented summoning acid focused.

firewall isn't being nerfed, its being retroactively reformatted to the intent and design of the original person who wanted to make the game.

Firewall with a fire speced sorc, will be nice still. To bad end game (wait ddo has no end game) level 20 epic bosses are immune to fire mostly .


next flavor of the month, 12 earth sorc, 7 ranger, 1 rogue using 2 +5 acid khopeshes of pure good. .
