Question Is Mouse Look worth it?

I'm am really wondering about the way I play DDO. Should I continue to use mouse-look and the joy-stick? or should I just use the keyboard and mouse, and not use mouse-look. (I would really like to know what the default controls regarding the mouse pointer are. I can't keep calling it "The other way".) I want valid arguments from both sides.

You can easily switch back and forth. I believe "T" is the default for toggling, if that isn't in easy reach set it to something else. I set it to my thumb button on my mouse.
I like mouse look as it makes spell casting, pewing, and movement much easier, but that doesn't mean that I won't switch if the need arises.

Well, I would suggest you try the Keyboard/Mouse combo for a few days and see which one you prefer.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

Keyboard + Mouselook all the way. Why would you stop using Mouselook if you switched to keyboard?

Mouselook 100% of the time, I use W for forward S for backward and have remapped A and D for targeting.

I use 5th button for mouselook toggle and 3rd for hold mouselook. It is very useful and would recommend it in some format. I am usually runing around with it held on because you never know when you need to click target some non-cycle to enemy or friendly for various reasons.

Keeps me alive more than anything. Also keeps others alive when your tank in shroud part 5 was lying about their hp. LOL
