Intim/S&B/Shield Mastery viability?

Has anyone done some Lamma testing and/or number crunching as to the viability of a sword and board timmy tank with the shield mastery line holding agro? Currently thinking about TRing my Turtle Timmy into a dwarven axe sword and board Timmy Bard. However if I won't be able to reliably hold agro, then what's the point? Heh.

Sanadil tested his build in moderate quality equipment as a pure fighter and had some comments in one of the intimidate threads.

I'm sure it would take some re-gearing and probably a lesser reincarnation, but it's feasible.

The top tier improved shield mastery with a tower shield adds 20% DR

With a defender build pure dwarven fighter ac build (so no dwarven dr boost) my dr using the leviks shield is something like 34.

34 x 1.20 (20%) = 40.8

6 more dr isnt bad .. but its not gonna save you from horroth.

Timmy Bard? I don't think you'll be able to generate the needed threat until the dwarven defender PRE is released. After that it might rock.
