I, for one, am glad to see you back. The "sanity" you can lend to these forums can only be describes as hugemongous.

Kal is back...oh my goodness....

As to the forums, in my circles I was always the go to guy getting asked what is new, what is coming, how to do XYZ, what should they be concerned about, etc. Bottom line, almost none of them bothered even reading the forums, let alone posting. Many did have forums tags and are on my friends list, but they post so seldom the dust piles get really high on them.

I wouldn't call them insane, more like the intense responses of an adult with parental and family responsibilities that has no slack for immature behavior and flaming...and who was getting royally annoyed and frustrated with vermin and trolls...as many of us do from time to time...

To be fair, I am pretty sure based on routine chatter in runs, that pretty much every long standing guild has someone who fulfills that special role in quests...
