Spell description says "Attacking another creature or interacting with an object ends the spell". Does that include giving commands to a hireling?

IIRC i didnt lose shadow walk on my bard doing the said with a hireling

Giving commands to hireling does not end it. Pretty much anything that will end invisibility ends shadow walk.
