    Default Ever notice?

Khyberian pug LFM's haven't been any good lately. Just saying if you're going to post "picky" least have some clue don't post it with no idea 'bout the quest or the players, makes you appear ignorant.

Oh and what's with the lvl 20's running lvl 10 quests for favour and looking for Hjealers?

    Just an obsevation, Have fun.

I have noticed this as well a group of 18-20s running Tangleroot for favor waiting for a healer. Really?

On the plus side almost all of the PUGs For at level quests I have been in latly have been populated with good players.

Yep, I've even been getting tells on my FvS and Cleric asking me to run level 6-10 quests because they need a 'healer'

    I've been responding with either:

    1. Excuse me, but *how* did you make it to cap exactly?
    or
    2. I'm late for a root canal.

The over level LFM's are funny... but besides that. People seem post things just because of fad or thinking makes them look l33t or something...

Example ... Elite shroud up "Picky" asking for DPS and healers, my cleric on timer so am on my rogue and apply... get response back five min later - sorry looking for DPS. Ok? So am confused now... and I log onto my pally and go to click the LFM again hesitantly - but wait he only wants Barbs and fighters. I think oh well, I'll find a real group or make my own...

I log onto Rose and bout to place up LFM - there it is same LFM, only now they're looking for a bard. I figure what the hey and join, then first thing out of his mouth is "You're a chanter right!" So's I tell him NO Singer and am walking into a lvl 17 quest in a group of 20's on elite and looks to me sporting enough GS to kill three Harry's the +1 or +2 some chanter will give is not worth my bloody time to switch onto mine.

... so then we're running the shroud, on elite and I take notice that the leader (a lvl 20 fighter) fills up half his HP on a single heal scroll (150 or so) I cast on him.

Oh don't mind me am just annoyed as it me or does it seem almost hypocritical?

My theory has been for about 7 months or so that newer players specifically choose language they percieve vet players use for their lfm's. It's difficult to blame them I think though due to the fact that getting one or two vet players into a six man run is a guarenteed completion.

The downside to this is found in, amongst other things, situations like you described. Since few actually question the person hiding behind boisterous claims while possessing the star... they tend to get carried through game content. And they never learn how to improve as a player.

I've fallen for this myself while TR'ing characters. I join what looks on the surface like a run filled with experienced players. Then I end up frustrated as the shennagins ensue.

That deserves an "OMG". Maybe "picky" says other things about the person who put that in their LFM.

Anyone else noticed the LFMs up for people who aren't "tards or pu$$ies"? Now THERE'S a fine example of people being idiots. At least I don't have to worry about ever playing with anyone who joins those LFMs. makes my /blacklist much easier...

I've run across a lot of decent PUGs recently tho, so overall I can't complain. I've had weeks like you're having Emili. They come and go. I think its got something to do with the moon, seasons, or perhaps localized rabies epidemics...

    I've seen some doozies lately:
A LFM for WW on normal, leader is "picky"
    Same for Tears
Group for Diplo chain needing a healer that ONLY heals, not fight...
ANY quest looking for a "tank". Not specifically a melee, but a Pally/Fighter/Barb...

The stupid is getting thick out there.

Only it's even worse for me, since I'm either the one disappointed or the one disappointing

This mostly why I stop bothering to make groups now a days. Sure , I can keep all but the most... "Smash head into monster's weapon" prolifent types alive but if I get one... oh it tends to get very loud and no ammount of CCing and healing would really help if more then 2 join my groups hehe.

I avoid any LFM that says Tank like the plague, as to me it reads as "WOW player new to DDO with very stereotyped ideas of what the classes can and cannot do"

    lmao

I seen a similar thing on Cannith. A group running Running with Devils on "normal for ingredients" level range 19/20. ***? My lv20 Barb tears through that place with a hireling topping me up every now and again.

So, I throw my own LFM up, lv15-17 (for xp), get a cpl of 17 wizards join and a 15 barb. Now we at 4/6. No one else joining, so I suggest me and the barb get a hireling and we begin. 5 mins in someone else joins so I dismiss my hireling and in he comes, a second barb. 5 mins later again, just as we clearing the first main room, a 17 cleric applies, dismiss other hireling and accept, he comes along and DC's on zoning in. We decide to just carry on and leave him in group to come *when* he logs back in.

Get to final boss, still no healer, start event, no problems at all. All named mobs dead except one we could not find. Healer reconnects inside the instance, find last name, kill him, loot.

Check the lfm and the same group of level 20's are in Meridia waiting on a healer.

    I found it funny

    Dont hate just originate.

I've been PuGing with several TRs joining for the past couple days and have got from level 6 to halfway through 9 on my third life, I've also piked much of it and let gimps into my group (best (worst) was a 2 bard 1 fvs 4 wizard or something similar). Ran Delera's part 2 farm with an average of 7/8 minute completions and a 20% exp pot going, things are looking better than normal for me lol.

Add the toon in my sig and send me a pm to do some quests. I'm on now.

Ya, I've noticed for me at least that the LFM window has been rather bare, at least for a lvl20, and more so than usual (haven't been on a low level lately to notice the rest).

yeah... i think it is because the noobs who put it up (<300 hp fighter lv20) think they *need those things to survive, because, yknow, they arent really great at the game.

my favorite was when i got rejected from a reaver's fate on a level 15 7/6/2 ftr/rgr/rog on the basis of A- my buidl was weird, and B- i was too low level. THE ****** too low level for Reavers?! I can solo that **** on wf wizard, and you think you actually need more than like 3 people to contribute? id let level 1s in if that was possible, if only to laugh at them when they died >.>, then complete easily anyway.
