Default Dwarven Tempest Assasin (Rng 12/ Rog 7/Barb 1)

    Hi,
Here is 'my' concept build, i would like to know if i miss something important in it. (like essencial feat).
Im preatty sure that hundreds of people already gave it (or similar) a try, so they can share some experience.

    My goals:
    - Bring enought DPS to the table to beat Miss Adventure in killcount
    - Obtain Ranger PL if TR
    - Be able to use bow with some margin of succes.
    - Have some utylity beside DPS (so traps)

    WHYs:
    - Wis 10, so i can grab +2 tome at some point, and no longer worry about item.
    - Dwarf, becouse Dwarves are cool (i like the model) also it makes my inner hippie happy.
    - No more ranger levels: it makes skill managment painfull, as well as lv 13-20 are quite boring, SA and Hastle Boost covers moments when im not fighting FE.
    - 7 Rogue, i have the impression that it brings the most easy and synergic dps, as well as some utylity and performance beside fight. However im somebody has experience with some outofthebox splash it would be glad to hear about. (Like Ranger/Bard; Ranger/Paladin)

    And here is a build:

It's not that popular, but I went for a similar build, actually: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=313740

I went for 10 Wis due to newb friendlyness, but item slot consolidation is a valid point as well.

With 10 Int, you are still able to get all the essential skills.

I went for a different Class progression - not front loading ranger that much, but actually getting GTWF earlier.
Anyway, I will revisit my class progression to shift the Fighter level more behind, like your progression.

The Feat-wise divergence is that I went for OTWF and Quick Draw instead of IC: Ranged. The former is helping (especially undergeared players) to hit better, the latter allows to spend less time with boost activation animations - with Haste Boost III, this becomes a straight damage increase.

To be honest, I do not see the ranged to-hit to be really that great on that build. I'd rather increase my melee damage than my ranged one - the best Manyshot will be a manyshot with 7d6 + 17 SA damage. To me, IC:Ranged offers not enough.

I would definitely drop the IC:Ranged for something else. Your mainly a melee character so no need for ranged feats. The times you do use a bow will just be for a quick ranged attack using Manyshot and IC won't bring that much to the table.

Also, I have heard that Assassin I is bugged and those poisons aren't working so you might want to consider taking something else instead.

I am actually getting ready to TR one of mine into a 12 Ranger, 7 Paladin, 1 Rogue build. I would still have full Search, Spot, Disable and UMD on it and be able to self heal for most quests.
    ... a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honor, sudden and quick in quarrel,
    Seeking the bubble reputation,
    Even in the dragon's mouth.

Still, it grants +1d6 SA damage. And that's better than what the other Tier 1 rogue PrEs offer.
With proper gear, the Mechanic's Trap bonuses are rather irrelevant and a Dwarven Ranger has already too many viable ranged options. And TA1? Which Dwarf would put down his Waraxe for a long, pointy piece of wood?

Ranger 12 gets you two lvl 3 spell slots, so you would need to hit WIS 13 if you really don't want to have to worry about a WIS item.
