    Default Craft question

    Hi all

I'll play DDO like half of a year now, and im relly enjoy this game. I didnt test craft system yet becuse i cant instal test server client. So i have couple of questions i hope some ppl that are familiar with craft will anwser those.

    1. Do you think that craft will not ruin joy of game, now when i loot ,, metalline of pure good,, or ,, holy brust of pure good,, its like wow that is good item. Now every one can have those?

    2. Is crafting is easy? In terms of obtain items, i know that lot of ppl have epic and green steel stuff, but most of new players enjoy to loot good items, im afraid that loot will be trash now if craf is to easy.

    3. What about in game market. To tell the trought P2P players have great advantage over F2P (that is normal im P2P myself) but pp have still some value, after craft update what will that be? Only Tb matters. If that, other important items, like tomes for eg. will vanish from ah.

    4. Do only i think that craft shoud have specific crafter class? Like Cannith mages from Eberron setup.

    5. And for last... isnt this make game more casual? U know now u must loot good items, often in hard quests, now u can just craft them in time.

Ty all and sry for my english.
Good luck, and fun in game for all! ^^

I'm by no means an expert on the topic, but if you read around a bit, you'll see that the current implementation of crafting seems to make it very time-consuming to craft really good weapons & items, so that it shouldn't have much impact on the rest of the game (besides probably modifying the AH price of some previously junk gear, which would become useful ingredients).

I'm rather hoping that AH prices for junk will come down, simply because there will be demand for things there used to be no demand for at all so there's no need to put an item on for a high price just because it has a single high-demand effect on it.

If I'm not deconstructing stuff myself, I'll be posting things on the AH for a lot less than previously because a quick sale is better than no sale. Fingers crossed that's what others will do too.
