So one new adventure pack at level cap for the whole year?

One third less updates then last year (if they hit the 4 they seem to be talking about)...

Wow, that is not a good sign of things to come. Would have thought that more money for Turbine due to F2P would mean more content over time not less...

We are giving casters more viable spell choices to use in combat situations and a better balance between the spell point cost and the impact of each spell. And best of all, spell point costs have generally gone down which means you should have more mana to burn in your adventuring.

Well, except for Bards. But hopefully Thoon™

I took several things away from this letter


1. Fernando is really excited
2. Fernando hasn't really been following the crafting thread
3. Looks like 4 more updates this year bringing us to update 12 by year end
4. Fernando really hasn't been following the Savant comments cause his sorc really won't be roasting all that much more after U9
5. New House
6. New wilderness area with endgame raid(not sure which update but this year. I am guessing U11)
7. No Druid this year
8. No lvls past 20 this year
9. New class(but not druid)
10. Crystal cove type quests will be made for new type of gameplay

Not that bad, really. TRing a max level lvl 0 class would be something like:
1) Login
2) Kill a single kobold (who still hates you even moar!).
3) ?
4) Re-TR (or profit)

I would guess that we get a spontaneous casting druid - since it involves no shape-shifting - so its sort of easy to add like FVS.

Probably Spirit Shaman.

His excitement over special attack animations that only serve to nerf those special attacks (especially for TWFers), is similarly eyebrow-raising.

I agree a lil disapointing but he did just give highlights. So one pack may not be it at cap. I have hopes.

A new raid, class and such excited for but no druids that sux.

O well will just have to wait and see what happens it was just highlights so not a full disclosure. So more content can be coming. Then again it is Turbine so we shall see

...Our next two adventure packs are both Xoriat themed and will introduce cool new monsters and major villains from the Plane of Madness.

Those that prefer the insanity dialed up to 11 can look forward to the next update which will kick off with an appropriately zany sequel to our popular “Delirium” quest.

By popular request it will also include a new wilderness and raid for characters at the level cap!
