Yeah. The funny thing was, I was on my WF pure acrobat, who couldn't do traps. (8 int, I decided to dump trapping for stealth, because stealth is fun). I needed the hireling for the other gimps in my party who didn't have evasion/reflex to survive elite traps (this was low level).

To be fair to vip and f2p players I think that all types of hirelings should be available from in game vendors. adding them in wouldn't hurt ddo store at all. gold seal type hirelings insure some amount of sales since they can be summoned anywhere and the fact you can build a whole party with them. over all I think that buy adding them to vendors would help balance the game to where you weren't being forced to buy a gold seal rouge because rouge hirelings don't exist in the vendor markets.
