    Default completionist

So the completionist feat adds an +2 to every stat and skill.
but to get it i need an past live feat in every class?.

meaning i need to play every class once + the completionist class?

my first live is cleric, so thats one is taken, in which order should i do the remaining ones?
i hate to melee, so i ques those ones are first ( 2nd~5th lives to quicker then 6~11 i take it?).

when the druid is added, i need to do the druid class, then go back to cleric to maintain completionist cleric?

how much ddo points would the druid cost upon release?

I recommend not to think about completionist.

Just play, have fun and TR always you reach lvl 20. Always select a class you would like to play next - not a class you don't like to play.

If you start making this a work project it will start to stress you and soon you find yourself in a place you don't like to be.

Completionist feat requires a lot of gaming hours. Do not waste those hours. Have fun or you have failed main idea of gaming.

Yes in Jan 2013 you will have to roll up a druid to regain the completionist feat.

Not to totally derail this thread topic, but the end of the world is Dec 23 2012 :P

The order in which you play the classes does not matter. You're going to play all of them.

Some give more tangible benefits than others and so it makes sense to do them earlier.

Fighter gives +1 to hit, monk gives +1 to damage and wizard gives +1 to spell penetration (but sorcerer gives +1 to evocation DCs). So, taking these early makes some sense.

But, in the long run it doesn't really matter.

As for druid. Your guess is as good as anyone elses.

Well, yeah . . . but you really, really don't need to be a completionist. Only do it if you're going to find it fun. It requires a ridiculous time investment.

I'm planning to work towards completionist, but only because I want to experience all the classes, but prefer having a "main" character to having lots of alts.

Mostly it doesn't matter. However, I would say to take wizard before any other casting classes (sorcerer, casting bard, casting FVS). This is because the wizard past life feats (both the passive and the selected) are awesome for any caster. (If you don't know, any past life automatically gives you a usually minor past life feat, which stacks up to 3 times, and you can optionally spend one of your normal feats to take a "selected" feat. More information on the wiki, here.) The passive wizard feat gives +2 to spell pen, which is awesome -- that's the same as the Spell Penetration feat, but costs you nothing. The active wizard feat, Arcane Initiate, is just as good -- +1 to all spell DCs, which is the same as taking the Spell Focus feat in every single spell school.

Other than that, just read through the past life feats, and think about what kind of builds you might want for future lives, and which past life feats would benefit them most. For example, you might want to go for a tactical build (high stunning blow and trip DC) for your barbarian life -- in that case, you probably want to take fighter before barbarian, so you can gain the passive +1 to tactics DCs from the fighter passive past life.

1st life is quickest, 2nd is slower, and 3rd is slower still. All other lives are at the same rate as the 3rd one. So if you're sure you want to go for completionist, consider taking your least favorite class for your next (2nd) life.

But seriously, don't go completionist if you hate meleeing. The benefit is only +2 to stats and skills, and it costs a feat -- some builds wouldn't take it even if it was available to them. If you want to be an offensive caster cleric, you'd be better off taking 3 wizard lives, 3 favored soul lives, and 3 sorcerer lives for +9 to spell penetration and +3 to evocation DCs, along with +1 to all DCs from the wizard active past life feat if you select it.

As far as we know right now, yes. The description of the Completionist feat states:
"When more classes are added, this feat will deactivate and you will need to gain those past lives before this benefit reactivates. "

Who knows. Don't take this the wrong way, but if you're concerned about this, it's unlikely you're the obsessive sort of player that Completionist is meant for.

    Default Completionist Order of Classes

First: it is all personal preference. That being said.

You will get very little benefit from the arcane past lives while playing melee, so I save those for last.

Every character will be expected to swing in tight spots, so I strart with melee benefits.

Can you hit stuff comes first:

Fighter, Paladin, Rogue, Barbarian, Monk, Ranger, Bard, Sorc, FavSoul, Cleric, Wiz, Druid.

TR as what ever you enjoy the most for your completionist.
