Default Looking for feedback on a TR

Just playing around with some build ideas for a TR. I know this build is not a optimized build but I am trying to make something fun that can run with my brothers new bard character. The only reason I am taking rapiers in this build is I have 2 GS ones from before and want to use them until I can craft something better. Thanks for any input.

you don't get anything interesting from rogue 2 (unless you need the skillpoints direly). ftr 7 gives you haste boost 3 and another toughness enhancement.

    worth considering imo
    Thelanis - Inferus Sus
Keeper Refugee - Exclusively playing Warforged
Nursing IsFutile (FvS) - Unorthodox Behaviour (Kensai) - Bigbofo (Warchanter) - Nukelear Blast (Sorc) - Jurugu Fleshbane (currently TRing) - Reviving IsCheaper (Radiant Blaster)

Only reason for rogue at all is to maximize UMD and disable and for evasion.

The way his build is set up, its the difference between Evasion at 9, or at 17ish. Skills as well.

ranger 9 gets you evasion too

skillpoints get tough with that many ftr lvls. but you can take umd and disable on fighterlevels (4 skillpoints/level as fighter from lvl 8 on). and search is classkill for ranger. could be doable maybe, dunno...

yeah, but imo tempest I asap is > evasion in the early levels.

i'd maybe go rog 1, ranger 2-10, ftr 11-17, rng 18-20. should work out with skillpoints i think.

Looks pretty good. I'd dump wis/int. You can hit the hard cap for Jump from strength and the ranger buff without a single point invested.

LOL...as long as I have played this game you'd think I'd remember that Rangers get evasion at 9. Looking at it I could still pull it off going to fighter 7 and leaving rogue at 1. I would lose about 6 skill points but that would just mean less jump which is really a dump skill anyways.

The way I have it figured is I will have fairly high disable and UMD, decent HPs, Tempest II and Kensai I. Hopefully they will eventually let us deconstruct GS or I can save up enough ingredients to make something better then rapiers.

Anyone know if PL Paladin bonus stacks with Human bonuses for healing? I'm figuring they do and between that and maxed Ranger healing I should be pretty self efficient for keeping myself alive.

just make sure your last 2 levels are ranger to fill up search and all should be fine.

yeah they stack. you'd get more out of maximize than empoer healing for that matter. its more expensive but can make the difference
