New Armor Kits Are Out

Can my eyes be seeing truth? Do the male Beast outfit versions NOT HAVE SKULLS? :O

(There's a skull pattern on the buttside isn't there... this is Turbine, they're incapable of making any armor without a skull on it!)

The heavy, medium, and light versions all look pretty similar. I like the outfit versions though.

Still nothing I really like for my female paladin though. The plains armor is getting close, though that's not really my favorite style of heavy armor.

Exactly.

AMEN brother (or sister)...this has been said so many times before. Turbine missed the mark on this one. Everyone I have discussed this with agrees that at current prices (and the fact that the kits are BtI) people will only by 1 or 2 or none but if the kits were either BtA and could be removed from armor or if they were super cheap, people would buy a LOT more of them. As it is now, most people only buy them when they are capped for that final suit of armor. Why should I spend TP on a mid/low level suit of armor that I will outgrow in a few days???

Yep. The only exceptions are a few roleplayers I know, one who just has a collection of armors with the various armor kits, and another one who simply buys up a new armor kit everytime they upgrade armors.

Then, I think Hair Dyes, and Ship Paints should be cheaper too, and I think they would end up selling more of them.

I see this armor showing up has well. Only Beast and Plains were mention for release, Cog was probably was meant for a future release and that why there are no previews for it.

Men's Breastplate (Medium)

Kits were Available for both Plains and Beast

Skins seem the same as Leather Plains and Plate Beast, with minor changes (slightly different under-skin, bare arms, etc.)

From Left to Right: Plains 1 Brown, Plains 2 Brown, Plains 1 Dark/Steel, Plains 2 Dark/Steel, Plains 1 Orange/Tan, Plains 2 Orange/Tan



From Left to Right: Beast 1 Dark/Steel, Beast 2 Dark/Steel, Beast 1 Violet/Gray, Beast 2 Violet/Gray, Beast 1 Blue-Green/Gray, Beast 2 Blue-Green/Gray

I've got to ask: were these normal breastplates, or DT breastplates? I've heard that armor kits have different appearances when used on DT armor.

Yup. Those would be the female Light, Medium, and Cloth(robes) links.

The WF Mithral and Adamantine Beast designs are just pure **** and the Adamantine docents are exactly like docents that currently drop in the game. The Mithral docent needs to have the bigger neck skull removed from the design and even then it's mostly just a copy of current docents that drop in game.

Come on Turbine, if you're going to give me something to spend my TP on then make it actually worth spending my TP on.

The Mithral is basically a clone of the Mabar docent anyway ... nothing new.

That WF COG one really look nice ... no skulls, metallic, it has actually depth and those gear thing looks muuuch more fitting

I anyway would like to see more casual then crazy kits. I neither need to look like a pile of skulls, nor as colorful as a rainbow (some kits overdue with colors). Simple is often much more nice to look at. Even if a theme sound cool to sell like 'Xoriat', an armor based on this theme would probably just make our eyes bleed
