    Default Past Life Feats

So I was just contemplating this for a while, and I wanted to make this suggestion...

I think it would be nice to have a 4x TR get the active past life feat for free... In other words... If you TR 3 times, you get the passive feat stacking up to 3 times. Then you TR once more, and you get the Active feat for free... I think it would cause people to really work for that extra TR.

I could also see quite a few people at least ATTEMPTING to be FULL completionists. In the sense that they would do every class x4... Would be one POWERFUL character... But would likely take an entire DDO career to do...

Edit: I also feel as though the completionist feat should be a free feat, much like many others have said. It would make so much more sense to go for completionist. Most classes are feat starved, but if you were to make it a free feat, I think more people would go for completionist because they'd actually be able to afford the feat...

/signed, if you work that long for it, I think the extra 4M+ xp requirement would make it fair.

And please, make completionist a free feat. It's ridiculous that you "win the game" but still have to pay for it.

Lets combine the whole lot together then , you can have complesionist for free if you have all of the active feats for free too

Then the game can play and you can watch as everything dies

That being said I disagree with the whole thing

The feat-dry classes would rejoice and making a "build" so that you win something that you did regardless of taking the feat is rather silly.

    Easy: 1,900,000 + 3,139,250 + (4,378,500 * 42) = 188,810,250

Sure, a player who has no job, no friends, no life "may" be able to eventually get all the past life feats and completion for free, but that would be such a rarity if not a near impossibility that the chances could be realistically classified as Infinitesimal. So there

That's actually my point... Making these past life feats free feats after lots of grinding would make the grind worth it. It would give many people a lofty goal that very few would achieve.

I know that most of the people that I group with have the *yawn* attitude toward the active past lives, and completionist because of the fact that we are feat starved for many classes. However, if they were active, I know I would see a lot more people doing multiple TRs and going for completionist.

/signed on completionist for free. And you might have something with the 4x free active. Or perhaps if you were completionist AND did a 4th in that class you could have it for free. Just 4 TR's in 1 class would make a pretty powerful character for, well, not gonna say not a lot of effort, but not completionist level.

One thing is one active feat free, and another to have all the active feats free.

What might work is tiered feats that get stronger as you gain more prerequisite past life feats.
    (or maybe just enhancements)
