    Default Shadowbane Inquisitor Revisited

TR from a Rogue: to Thief Acrobat/Knight of the Chalice
Goal of the build is to contribute to Raid DPS with the ability to Intim Trash Mobs on Epic/Raids as well as handle epic traps and be self sufficient for Solo fun . Strengths: Rogue Backstab DPS and Paladin Burst DPS, Decent Intim, Great AC for when Agro is pulled, Self Healing, High saves, and immune to everything but curse. Weaknesses Just under 500 HP , Unsure if 36 dex is enough for to hit on this dex build, not sure if even the superior AC of this build will hold up in Epics, it will own elite content

I would switch Dodge and TWF. It will be hard on you on the first levels with the TWF penalty and Dodge is going help later. The first levels are sneak and clobber. So more DPS in the beginning will be less of a headache. I'm guessing you know rogue evasion and monk ac doesn't work with medium or heavy armor, but mentioning it since I didn't see the armor item and it looks like a interesting build and would hate to have you find out this later. Also look into "Opportunist" for "Skill Mastery", but both are good rogue feats to take.

Sneak Attack and Intimidate don't help each each other. Sneak attack only happens when you don't have aggro and intimidate is to have aggro of the monsters.

I don't remember much about paladins really but I think you can go down on the wis to make up in con. Like 14 17 14 11 12 10 with human adaptability +1 and a +3 tome from the shroud it will make con of 16. just will need a +2 Wis item for the last two level paladin spells. Paladins only get four levels of spells from what I can remember.

Also look up Junts for Paladins, if you haven't already.

No, it was just done better here and no one wants to say that.
I have a scimitar wielding halfling version that I'll be TR'ing to when I finish gearing him - which should be soon - but he's going KoTC/Assassin2.

    He's using armor 8 bracers.

The Wis isn't for his Paladin spells, it's for the monk AC bonus.

Saw the +8 bracers but have seen melee builds not knowing the armor requirements.

Didn't know the wisdom part for monk. Sounds good....

Using the Icy Raiments as Armor. As to leveling and feat selection, more than likely as I level up I will go with different points and feats and do + soft reincarnate to fix the stats and feats as i approach cap.

Hurt Locker is a good build, however it is a bit different from my goals, for 1 its WF based on DoD and where as mine is based on Icy Raiments. The trade of is I gain a much higher intimidate, higher AC, at the expense of some DPS and hate generation, also Hurt Locker cant do Epic traps which if your gonna sport the rogue icon and all the prejudice against that, it should be able to do epic

No arguments about the traps. My halfling version will be epic ready as well, but is strength based instead.
"At the expense of some DPS and hate generation" is a bit of an understatement though. Human dex based will drop your DPS considerably, especially in epics where everything is auto-crit. Not that I'm knocking the build.... just saying. This is primarily why I'll be going Assassin instead of Acrobat, for the extra sneak damage. I'll be ignoring Intimidate and not attempting to tank in exchange for more DPS.

One thing I noticed is your gear set-up, which is listed as Optimal is less than optimal. You missed Tharne's Goggles. They should be in your optimal set-up.

granted I miss out on the +4 damage from ending at a 22 strength unbuffed but I can get every other strength buff offered and using a +3 tome I might be able to rework gear and stats to squeeze out an end point of 24 strength and then the difference is only +3 damage. And the Tharnes goggles are great and I would swap them with my Cha skill goggles as needed, thanks for pointing out the miss i can also swap HoGF for Bloodstone/Arrowhead

That +4 turns into +8 on a crit, and +12 on a crit DivSac* or a crit Smite, and this is a sneak-attack/crit driven build.
Like I said, it isn't going to break your build, but it isn't insignificant either. I've played both Str and Dex based rogues, both pure and multiclass, and you will definitely notice a difference going Str based. This build in particular would benefit more from a Str base because of the Pally abilities. But that's just my opinion.

    * which should never be off timer, hoard the lowbie mana pots you find in the Harbor, ect, to power this indefinitely, and spam it like a fool. Even if it only gives you 15 sp, that's 15 more DiVSacs over a 45 second boss fight.

    Default Option

Would it be a possible option to take DoS instead of KotC? higher AC and str but might bring down your dps just a little.
