Remember to twitch! I see too many people who skipped the THF feats not twitching-- even against things where their attack bonus will obviously be high enough like portals.

-2 for starting with 14 vs. 18.
-2.5 for not upping WIS at levels 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20
-.5 for not being Helf or Human (stacking +1 WIS)
-2 to a single school for no focus feats
= -5 to all schools, except -7 to one (likely Evocation).

That's a lot different that just -2 DC.



One could easily say the same about your post...

My post was specifically about starting Wisdom, at no point did I ever address other important character making decisions such as feats, race choice, or stat leveling decisions.

Obviously if you're interested in casting offensively, you need to make some investment in that. I don't think you need to start with 18 wisdom, was the point of my post.
