    If you have to pick between Maximize and Empower, go with Maximize. It's a lot better.

    Where's Power Attack? Improved Critical? Why take OTWF? With all those past lives I'd venture that the player would have gear to help with to-hit by that point.

    Personally, I would drop OTWF and Extend for PA and IC, and then Empower for Maximize.

    Also, why wait 'till 18 to pick up Empower Healing? Get it closer to 6 so you can get the PrE.

    WIS does not need to be 16. The DC boost won't matter a whole lot in the end, and the points would do a lot more if they were in CHA. Drop it to 11 (gain 7 points), and then raise CHA up to 15 (spend 6), then up INT to 9 so you can get another skill point/level starting at 4 with a +1 INT tome then. That'll allow Divine Might 3 with a +3 CHA tome, which is +6 damage to each hand.

    Speaking of skills, Diplo isn't worth that much (a Cleric isn't going to out-threat a character purely devoted to DPS without tons of Threat gear). A better investment would instead be UMD (teleport scrolls, stoneskin wands and fireshield scrolls are worth the investment alone), with a couple of points into Tumble.

    With enhancements, unless your friend is addicted to the 1000 Heal every 10 minutes, Cleric CHA 2 will be a better investment. +1 turn/rest and UMD is worth more than +1 to-hit with a weapon you won't use (longsword) and an ability that can be used once every quest.

    Finally, drop the 6 AP in Prayer of Smiting. The new Divine Punishment would benefit from it, yes, but those AP would be better spent on Divine Might 3 instead.
