Rumor about red fens epic items being re-hauled.

Is this true, and what are/is the specifics? I've been hearing stories about them gaining slots, heard also that there will be no recipe to upgrade your old epics(Must make a new one), and also heard some are getting additional bonuses.

Anyone see any changes specific to the red fens, And to a lesser extent, the house P/D epic items?

The release notes dont answer his question, as they are often vague when it comes to item changes.

The one note about red fens in there, is wrong. As that change has already been implemented on live.

So to answer the question correctly:
Not many. Only the epic eternal wands from the red fens have been updated.

Do u mean this: Restoration recipes have been added for Epic Carnival and Epic Red Fens items. If an item was improved for Update 8, players can now use 3 Epic Dungeon tokens in a Stone of Change, along with the item, to upgrade the item to its improved state (or remove its augment slot, if the item has one.)

If you're referring to that line, that was due to the changes in (mostly Fens) items in update 8. They are detailed in an older release note:

Several Epic items, and one named item, have been buffed based on player feedback:

* Epic Brimstone Verge now has a Greater Evocation Focus and a higher DC.
* Epic Cacophonic Verge now has a Great Evocation Focus and a higher DC.
* Epic Illusionist's Robe now has Intelligence +7 and Greater Illusion Focus.
* Epic Robe of Dissonance now binds properly and has a minimum level.
* Epic Shimmering Pendant now has Perform +15 and a higher caster level on its Suggestion effect. The recharge functionality of its charges will also now work properly.
* Epic Souleater now has a Red Augment Slot, Vampirism, a +2 profane bonus to Strength, and a higher hit dice limit on its Trap the Soul effect.
* Epic Utility Vest now has an Exceptional Intelligence +2 and an increase of its skill bonuses (Disable Device and Open Lock) to +20.
* Epic Winter's Wrath now has a higher DC.
* Wand of Blasting now has a higher DC.

Yes but that list is all from u8, they just put it in late...

The wording of what i heard was that i was told that 'some sets got slots' (And in the end it was simply just the souleater that got a slot, and that was months ago...lol)

That would be cool.

The intim/threat changes make Vulkoor's Might a bit less desirable. People using that might easily lead to some "oops" situations with an intimitank.

Responsible people should get a Tharnes rune on DT - will let you wear the claw-set without the additional threat.

Where are Khopesh and Monk-Splash?

They're in the store. Lesser/Greater Hearts for when you finally realize khopesh are better and Premium players need to buy monk.

Which means they'll never change.
