    Default rough shot at a drow shortsword finesse build

    No haste boost, boo. Could trade good saves for fighter levels.

    Str: 16 + 7 item +3 exc +2 ship + 2 rams = 30

    Dex: 29 + 6 item, +3 exc +2 ship +2 air stance = 42

    Con: 12 + 6 + 2 ship -2 air stance = 18

    Default 2 fighter levels instead of paladin

    Think I dig this version more. Able to fit zen archery + imp crit ranged in to play with multishot. Dropped cha and int by 1 each for 1 more con, needing +3 int tome for CE. Could just go with another toughness until tome pulled.

    Why are you worried about Zen archery? You probably won't be using your bow except situationally, so losing some ki while you are picking off ranged targets wouldn't hurt that much.

    Default a competing elf build with more ranged leanings

    And much less AC w/ 46 more base HP. So a more DPS orientated toon by large margin.

    I think burst DPS of this elf build would be far superior w/ kensei powering many shot w/ elf bow racials + AA. Could switch kensei enhancements to boost scims instead for a little less flavor and more overall DPS contribution.

    Damage per arrow:
    +5 feats (WS and point blank) +2 racial enh +4 kensei weap + 1 fighter WM enh + 2d8(avg 9) + 4 + 6 epic thornlord + 2 ship buff = avg 33
    Arrow Crits:
    33 +4 kensei seeker + 8 bloodstone x 3 mult = 135 avg crit. Seems like respectable base damage before all the procs are thrown on.

    Its more about not having to remember to click back into stance each time you switch to bow and back, as well as being able to apply air stance bonuses to ranged is a side benefit. Ki is secondary. Also, having many shot, imp prec shot and imp crit ranged all together in a nice tiddy toon, ill probably be using ranged whenever many shot is off timer. So zen archery takes out one extra step in cycling many shot in not having to re-stance every 2 mins
