Default Helvoker build request ~ H/elf evoker FvS

    Hello all,
I am looking for an update 9, 36 point FvS Evoker build.
    Lvl 20 FvS Half elf.
Full spell caster ( non melee with strength as dump stat, 14 minimum constitution)
    Max wisdom, Max charisma
    Lvl 12 Pre enhancement line.

    Questions:
If I use the Wizard Diletante, do I get the new Update 9 Elven arcanum enhancement line for a possible +40sp and +2 spell pen?

    1. Why max CHA? You do not need it....

    2. 36 point build and you need to ask for help on it? Usually, after the 2nd life, you submit builds, not ask for them...

    3. Why dump STR? You have plenty of build points...

    4. Your title says Evoker, but do you actually mean AoV PrE?

Maxing CHA and WIS only leaves room for 12 CON, but I wonder as well, why maxing CHA?

    Edit:
If you insist on high CHA you can go:
    WIS 18
    CON 16
    CHA 16
INT 10 (skills you might want are Balance, UMD or Concentration)

    Actually I would recommend more:
    WIS 18
    CON 15
    CHA 14
    INT 12
    STR 12

    Or even:
    WIS 17
    CON 17
    CHA 14
    INT 12

Since you are Helv uneven start Values should work out for you (Human Adaptability).
Maxing CHA is a minor advantage of some SP, the difference should be more or less close to 100, apart from that you only need 19 CHA to cast lvl 9 spells, personally I prefer to reach that value without any equip. Like 14(base)+2(Tome)+2(Capstone)+1(FvS Enhancement). Given you get CHA +6 and Exc CHA +1, you will end up at 26, which is totally fine.

Feats to consider (in order of importance in my opinion): Toughness, Heighten, Maximize, Empower, Quicken, Empower Healing, Extend, ... , (Evocation Focus' and Spell Penetrations)

Extend: even after it doesnt work on BB anymore you still have Divine Favour, Divine Power, Recitation, Prayer, Holy Aura.. which are rather short term, but very nice
Evocation Focus: It might be just me, but I dont believe in a capped Divine DC, for you most spells a save every now and then doesnt hurt that much, when enemies fail to like 80%, its fine - my opinion
Spell Penetration: 1/2 Feats for 2 spells - Implosion and Destruction, very nice spells, but not worth dropping a metamagic, again different minds think different.

Enhancements: Don't worry you will have enough points....

It's not exactly a build and equipment is fully missing (that is difficult to say anyway), but those are pointers which might help you.

I answered this question in the other thread.

Elven Arcanum is, at the moment, only for elves. The ONLY way you get get Elven Arcanum AT THE MOMENT is by being an elven wizard. You are neither an elf, nor a wizard.

No, you can't get Elven Arcanum, at the moment (maybe they'll tweak the prereqs to allow wizard dilettante to qualify for it on account of Helf being a premium race).

No need to max charisma as everyone has said, go max investment into wisdom, 6 point investment into charisma (14), 6 point investment into constitution (14). This leaves 8 points leftover. Decide what skills that you want. Most likely put the rest of the points into strength (14 starting strength is quite nice). Dexterity is your dump stat.

Skills: Concentration, of course, UMD (because you should have a GS Charisma skills/SP item among other things), Some balance (6 is ok), Tumble (1), Diplomacy and/or intimidate (because you're half-elf, you get class bonuses and they are getting a boost in U9). Don't worry about jump (I presume you have your amrath jump clicky).

Feats: empower, maximise, quicken, heighten, spell penetration, greater spell penetration, toughness. No need for extend considering your massive SP pool, the nerf to extend and the shuffling of short term buffs to the front in U9.

Dilettante wise, I would suggest paladin. It gives +5 saves which is better than any other dilettante in all likely hood.
